Yeah I agree with you, but they're so-so A-B graders
A couple of years ago I thought Caddy and especially Duncan could step up and become genuine stars.

It's going to be tough for them to develop now that Clangers is hogging all the ball.

Yep, they havent come on.

Taylor and lonergan arent getting any younger either.

Fair to say they overachieved this year, but I reckon some cats fans deep down know that

If they want to stay at the top then they'll need a mini-rebuild.

Some of the old blokes will go or should be moved on and they need to be aggressive with trades and FA's.

They'll have a much harder FIXture next year

Caddy I do agree on. Duncan no. He's not and never is going to be a contested beast. He's essentially a wing/outside player who has elite kicking skills. Nothing wrong with his output.

Nothing wrong with Mitch. Blicavs has no set role, when the press works well his height and endurance are valuable as another tall body in the press - also serves as the safety net in the team - I.e lose a defender to injury. Send him back. Lose a ruck then he rucks. Lose your tagger and he does so but he. Weds a clearly definable role and wouldn't rule out tall defender.

Guthrie. Harped on all year, is a defender, that dash from half back that's needed. Thurlow shall help there too.

Not concerned about tall defenders, Taylor will be here for another couple at least. Still have Kolodjashnij, Henderson and Taylor and look like drafting our VFL fullback this draft.

Need a CHF and probably one more inside mid.

Not sure if it is overachievement or not. I expected finals and to win one with the trading that was made. We did achieve that, just ran into the one side in the finals that had our measure. It happens.

Nice to wake up and know you're in the Grand Final. Still can't believe that first half, probably the best I have seen us play in terms of pressure. Papley, McGlynn, Heeney and Rohan were huge!

The hypocrisy is, and conitnues to be quite amusing. Not surprised in the slightest though.

Prelim day is here and I'm shitting bricks. Its such a cruel day for us Doggy fans.

Is 8th time lucky a thing?
I believe you said you're going to the game? Good luck today. Will be great to see the Dogs get through.

Hopefully a good result for you this time around. Genuine chance to get the jump on them early, much like the Swans did last night.

They've only played one game in three weeks, there's a vulnerability there that has emerged from this strange bit of scheduling.

Danger looks like he proved FAITH right in the end, absolutely selfish player who has really taken Geelong backwards in terms of development for their peripheral players. They were really shown up last night.
Was a bad night last night for our boys but what a stupid comment. We finished 10th last season and danger helped us climb back into the top 4 and a prelim final.

i take little pleasure from being proven correct again. ive been watching danger since he was 17, and it was the one thing that use to shite me and he still hasnt improved in that area.

SM ive also been on the swans bandwagon all season, not sure what happend vs gws but i expect them to go on and win it.

Also our 2nd tier players haven't taken the next step for a couple of years now, but yeah that's dangers fault.

The players couldn't handle the pressure last night but oh, it's dangers fault.

Enright is a straight out gun, sort of surprised he was so emotional because it's not like he didn't accomplish everything a player dreams of! Could also tell it's the right time for Bartel to step away, interesting times ahead for the cats but all those points have already been made
