We have some absolute dumb players. How many push in the backs before these idiots realise it will be a 50 metre penalty? That is 3 now all resulting in goals.

Thomas looked pitifully proud of himself showing his direct opponent his toughness by pulling down his teammate. Too bad the ump was having none of it and pinged him for 50. Another scoring opportunity immediately after the 50 which the Bulldogs missed but a chance they never should have had.

Hope they come down hard on stratton. It’s such a weak act pinching knowing that his opponent can drop him like they used to with blokes like Kelly in the 90s. Throw in the stomp and he really should get some weeks for being a campaigner

Crazy that we were still in it at HT then we have a massive start to the third. Turns out we won that quarter by less than the second. I thought we were s**t the whole first half

Can see this getting ugly. Looks like we gave everything we had to hit the lead then to go into the last a goal behind now we look dead again

That was a weird game. Dogs didn’t make the most of their dominance in the first half. We then have 10-15 mins of good footy, they have the next 20 mins and we have the final 10 mins.

Even the losing is better under Teague. Ball movement and scoring is much improved on the slow stuff which still creeps into our game tonight

Another honourable loss last night... cool. The difference between our worst and best football is way too big.

Yet again it’s shown that if Cripps is off his game, Carlton are screwed. More players need to step up to bridge the gap whenever he isn’t playing to his usual high standard.

Wouldn’t say screwed when we lost by a kick. Normally when he is quiet we lose by 10+ goals

Well that’s true. But how many games are we going to lose by a kick when we’ve had 2+ quarters of average footy? It’s irritating.

There's a lot of quality players still at the Bulldogs they've just got a very young spine which gets exposed especially down back. North imo dont have anyone close to the ability of Bont, Macrae, Dunkley outside of Cunnington. It's hard to be too critical on Bevo after delivering a premiership but they really shouldn't be down in the bottom realms of the ladder with the quality on their list. The biggest difference between the two is that North are more consistent but their best isn't as good as the Dogs

I think since the flag Bevos coaching and man management leaves alot to be desired and we are on track to drop down the ladder for the third year running. He'll be under a heap of pressure to perform next season or its probably the end for him.

We can play some nice footy when its on our terms but as soon as any pressure is place on us we go to water. Luke has been worked out and is looking like a one trick pony.

Can't argue with that. I think that if he does work out a way to get a style that can stand up week after week or if a new coach comes in and hits the ground running the rise up the ladder will be very fast.
