Usman proving my point again that the form batsmen in the country must be picked. Doesn't matter if it's white ball cricket, beach cricket, stick cricket or test cricket. He is the first chosen Australian player at the moment!

And yet you wanted them both as certain starters in our one day side

I still disagree. A good T20 player doesn't = a good Test player every time

Yeah that way I can see problems with it. But test to OD and BBL to T20 definitely

Marsh is starting to prove in the OD arena he is worth it.
M.Marsh as a #7 in the ODs yeah useful because his bowling often covers up the poor innings that still look likely to happen. Just needs to show more to be our test #6

Khawaja is in ripping form, should be the first selected after Smith in test and ODI sides.

Do you know that they're different formats. Clearly not.

They're both good at white ball cricket, questionable at test match cricket...

Formats don't matter with their levels of consistency. And Khawaja's level of current form

So just because Usman is playing well in all formats we now take that as the rule. Yeah nah.
If someone is as dominant as he was leading up to that one day series, yes definitely. The bloke is in form we see every couple of years

Also if someone is doing it in t20 and test they're definitely capable in OD format. They're showing they are able to bat at strike rates ranging from 60 to about 200+ and OD strike rates fall well within that
