Warner will get the rest of the Ashes now.
I’m sure many of us saw this coming, that batting line up is so brittle without Smith. But being 2-136, with Warner actually getting some runs, it’s still a very poor effort to then be shot out for 179.

What a sack of s**t our batsmen are.
Certainly shaping up as a bowler’s series. Both attacks are class.
But with Smith out, I don’t think there’s enough runs in this Australian batting to support the bowlers.

This test will probably be over inside three days the way it’s going.
We don’t deserve the ashes playing like this. Great bowling, absolute mess with the batting particularly the top order

just got home from work. look at that glorious sunshine. gotta love it
I gotta say, getting Stokes makes me believe. Even with these early wickets I thought England would eventually surpass 179 comfortably.
But I’m not sure what to expect in the second dig, there’s every chance Archer and Broad run through them again.
