Our last few games will hurt, playing against low drawing teams, that will probably see Collingwood finish in front of us come round 22.

Round 18 vs Nth Melbourne (ES)
Round 20 vs Port (AAMI)
Round 21 vs Melbourne (ES)
Round 22 vs Adelaide (ES)

Given that we still play Collingwood, Essendon, Richmond and Geelong, i'd like to think that we'd be able to get over the 1,000,000 mark again this year.
unfortunately goin to europe before essendon game -1 for the rest of the yeAR:mad:

How much do you want to bet that the pies wll again finish on top of the attendance ladder. Collingwood have finished first in attendances in the following years since 1990; 1990,1991,1992,1993,1994,1995,1997,2002,2003,2005,2006,2007,2008 (Home and away attendance record of 1,247,604)

How many years has Carlton finished first in attendances? 0

When Collingwood make finals no club draws bigger crowds and that includes Carlton and Essendon and Why? Because Collingwood have more supporters. But Carlton are drawing very good Crowds this year.

Gee, I wonder how you'd go if you didn't get Anzac Day and the Queens Birthday each year, the game in Sydney during the split round, a heap of games at the 'G, and only travel 4 times a year?

So much for Hawthorn's 55,000 membership figure.

Does anyone know if there is some half-assed Hawks membership package for Tasmanian residents which is included in their membership figure?

(Or do they get to count each head of their Tasmanian members?)

I believe that Hawthorn have over 5k worth of members in Tasmania. Have no idea what that would include.

I was very disappointed at the turn out on Friday night, I went expecting a huge crowd seeing as it was our home game. Even if supporters were expecting a loss they should of still turned up to see how we faired against the benchmark of the competition. If we had of achieved another 15, 000 or so the atmosphere would of been phenomenal!!

It was the weather forecast that scared a few people off i think... it was forecast for heavy rain, hail, thunder, gale winds and freezing cold... There was none of that... actually i haven't felt as comfy at the footy as i did on friday night... i guess playing like we did helped...

I know a few relos that didn't go cause they listened to the weather forecast and cursed at the weatherman afterwards...

I managed to get to the 'G in record time on Friday Night.. 15 minutes from home, very impressed. It was dead. There wasn't even much foot traffic walking into the ground.

To me it felt like we had 40k of the crowd, the cats fans did not show up

Couldn't believe how skinny the crowd looked when I got there around 7. Was actually surprised when the 55k went up.

gotta say i was disappointed with the crowd as well, i thought there'd be at least 65k for two well supported clubs

The crowd was heavily pro Carlton, however even saying that there weren't as many Carlton fans at the game as in previous games. The weather was fine by midday so doubt it was an issue. More likely Carlton fans staying away because like most they thought a thumping was in order.

Given that we play Port Adelaide at AAMI this weekend,

I'm guessing that there will be 5000 or so Carlton supporters ...

this will form a total stadium tally of 5,035 attendees.
