Depends on when the test was done and the draw I guess. Usually one half of them have to play on opening day.
Why on earth are the governments now saying 7 days of isolating is fine ?
Haven't people been testing positive on days 11-14 (occasionally 15+) ?????
Mind boggling allowing them to continue to spread the spicy cough after day 7!

He may and more than likely will be fine, as are the majority of people his age. But there is the rare case of someone in their 20s still getting knocked about a fair bit from the virus. Hopefully he isn't one of those cases.

Well they aren't the rules anymore. You are free on day 7 after testing positive.

Kyrgios better hope he makes a quick recovery because he's got ranking points to defend - He has played a total of 24 matches on tour in the last two years.

Kyrgios will be out of the top 100 by the time the AO starts. And if he can't reach R3 in Melbourne as he did last year, he will plummet even further.
Overseas tournament directors seem to like him so he has a chance of a few wildcards, but they will dry up pretty quickly if he can't quickly show some form.
