I don't mind working every day, I'd be bored if I was at home more than I am...and my wife would drive me nuts wanting me to drive everywhere as she doesn't drive. I love her but it is a constant "get your licence" thing lol
People who don't drive are ****ing weirdos. Sorry but your wife is a weirdo. :)

She's Russian so she's never had to drive really and I'm way too nice. My old job allowed me to be at home a lot more and work from home.

We've come up with an agreement though and that is she has to get some sort of licence by next year.

Having said all that, I'm finding driving more and more stressful in general, so many ****ing f.***wits on the road it's not funny. Tailgating is my no1 ****ing frustration. Like, I get it, the freeway is 100km/h, but wtf am i meant to do when there's someone doing 80 in front of me. Sitting on my ****ing ass is not going to get us anywhere ****ing faster you ****ing campaigners.

Oh there are some absolute campaigners on the roads. I'm not the quickest driver but at the end of the day trying to ram your car up my ass isn't helping, and I'l always let you pass.

My driving is pretty simple- I do the speed limit (unless unsafe to do so)- bang on the speed limit. No more, no less, I'm not getting a ****ing speeding ticket for no one.

So yeah if there's a 40 on a freeway due to roadworks, bet your ****en ass i'm doing 40. Everyone completely wizzes by me doing 60+ but **** them. Hope they get done.

I'm the same. I trust the police/roadworkers/etc that set the limits. They know what they are doing and set reasonable limits. It won't kill you doing 40kmph for a few kilometres..

Nar stuff safety, I do the speed limit purely out of spite. :D

I've been extremely lucky- first ticket I got (67, reduced to 64 in a 60 zone)- got off with a warning because it was my first ticket ever. Then got pinged 63 in a 40, but was on the ring road, apparently thousands got done and they revoked them all. Very, very lucky. Was 2km away from losing my license automatically for a month.

I was done once when I was 18 doing 56kmph in a 50kmph zone but that is it, haven't been done since. Just don't see a reason to speed really. If you have to speed- leave earlier!

Honestly the difference is minute. Where I work, the RR used to be ****ed up the arse- I'm talking road works from beginning to end (the section I used), we crawled constantly doing 20-60km/h- you know what time I'd get home from work- 5pm.

When they fixed it- I'd get home at about 5 to 5, that's doing 80-100km/h the whole way.

Like 5 mins difference, big whoop.

Look my work takes me 30 minutes to get to and I literally can't speed anyway haha! There's roadworks everywhere!

I've just dropped Mondays and I work from home on Wednesdays. HEAVEN.
It would be pretty hard for me to work from home... like maybe I could help out the students via text msg or something :D

Do you do the old "dress up in a suit/corporate attire" to get yourself in the mood of working from home or do you slum it in PJs.

Happy Hump / Bachelor Day.

Something to look forward to after a day of running around after my 3 year old daughter. Put her to bed, and then flake out on the couch for an hour. Apparently there's a double date tonight, and (if New Weekly magazine is to be believed), it will be an elimination double date.

Most double dates are elimination dates!

Any tips on who it will be..
