Bit of dispute in the backyard tonight so I decided to create this thread, basically hoping to make a BigFooty Backyard Cricket Rule Book (The BFBCRB).
I'll get the first debate going, if a ball comes off the roof, can it be caught with one hand, or is no catch allowed at all? The brother was in batting so he obviously argued for the latter but I believe I got that prick out
Here's a list of rules I think do not need debate.
I'll update any rules I've forgotten.

Here's a list of rules I think do not need debate.
- One hand, one bounce.
Two bounce, headbutt.
- Auto-Wickie and Auto-Slip.
- 6 and out depending on the environment, over the fence is definantly out (ball must be fetched by the batsmen).
- No LBW (no blocking your wicket either).
- Can't go out first ball.
- If you hit a fragile object eg. window, fountain, grandparents etc. on the full you're out.
- The bowler has choice of the ball if multiple balls are available.
I'll update any rules I've forgotten.
