Known by some as the shy country boy who struggled to adapt to the city life, Southern Dragons player and former Allies Fantasy Captain and centreman, amos, has made a shock announcement that he'll be returning to fantasy football, coincidentally, at the same time he was dropped from his team's list.
"I'm back. I'm back to play and I wanna be part of this. I made so great friendships last time around and am ready to roll again".
In March this year, amos announced he was considering retirement from the game to friends, citing a lack of continuing passion for the game. Though a gifted player, amos for much of the 2008 season completely avoided media attention and the fantasy boards in what was thought to being disgruntled towards fantasy football, possibly stemming from the gut wrenching demise of his former favourite site, TFFSL, a once flourishing fantasy sports site to instead concentrated on his glass blowing franchise in the Bolivian coutryside.
"It's true, when tffsl lost it's way, I think I did, too. I needed to look at things more clearly and thought fantasy sport was too fragile, and Bolivia was the answer".
It is believed that a phone call from close teamate, Sausage roll, prompted amos to smash all the glassware, Greek wedding style before jumping on his 6 year old donkey, Eeewaw, and trecking over the mountains for 17 days without fod or water before catching the first plane bound for fantasy boards.
"The treck was a shocker, I was a bit like Manual the Bandito, and resorted to the splender of marinated donkey shit for sustenance throughout the journey".
Finally the question remains, who will amos play for now he's been dropped from the Dragons?
"I'm awaiting offers but I'm a catch".
Welcome back amos.
