I'm back in that thread again now. Will be niggling a little this evening.
I doubt you're drunk enough to troll effectively. :p

No I meant that saying Hughes should be picked over Marsh because Warner is going out cheaply is combining two different discussions.
I thought the point of discussion was Hughes in for Warner?

Have just posed this of them:

Arrogant? I don't know what you mean. Sorry if it came across that way, I was just asking questions.

On another point, do you get to choose which of the pitches out there you bat on? I notice there's a few pitches next to each other, maybe South Africa chose the wrong one because it really looks pretty easy when the Aussies are batting. Can they choose?

If you host the test and lose the toss in SA,the captain can pick one of half a dozen pitches to bowl on.

You didn't know this?

Lol...:

"Maybe I mistook your comment. But suggesting that the best bowler over the past 5 or so years call a press conference to admit that Johnson is the best seemed like arrogance to me.

The groundsman chooses the strip. It is actually a decent batting strip but Johnson is the difference between the sides. Also remember that there was only 1 significant partnership in the Aus 1st innings, so there is definitely something in the track for the bowlers.

Warner is on 63 and he was dropped 3 times and about 40 of his runs came from edges and false shots, so once again it suggests that the pitch is a good one for test cricket. Peterson as usual has been rubbish and is unable to build any pressure. When the Aussies bowled, Harris, Siddle and Lyon build up pressure which allowed Johnson to strike. The SA support bowlers have not built any pressure."

Thank **** for our lower order batsmen and our four bowlers.because our top order in the first dig has been pathetic.
Aussies top order has been terrible.
Imagine if the top four could amass 200 between them.

Fellas, I've been watching test cricket for may years now and have seen D K Lillee, Wasim Akram, Curtley Ambrose etc etc dominate opposition, and I'm pleased to advise that we have a bloke now that is the equal of these legends in intimidatory bowling.
MJ is he best cricketer in the world now by that much it's not funny.
Did you see the ball he just game Amla. Frightening
