I too have my theory and POI.
I don't think it was any of the 'popular' suspects.
I believe the POI has flown under the radar and they have never been investigated.
I believe his parents knew/suspected and protected them, so there was no possibility of becoming a suspect.
The person definately couldn't have been mentioned in the Mulligan inquiry, because he was not known to them.
I think only one person was involved.
I am confident that the person groomed the children over time, prior to their abduction. The person had to be at Glenelg regularly to do that. Being there at the same time as the children.
It is possible the BC previously knew them from a social setting, maybe a friend/work colleague of parents
I am not of the opinion that they had anything contact with an orphanage.
I am very confident the person was well versed in manipulating groups of children.
Definately a sexual predator.
I also don't think they were part of a network - given the $1,000,000 reward, someone would have ratted.
I have been told there is usually a catalyst for a person to commit this type of crime. Narcissists have to always be in control. It's when they are under the threat of losing control that they tip, and commit the offence. In their mind they are back in control, even if it's a completely unrelated matter.
I totally believe there are other children that were at the very least, molested by this person. Given historical laws and statute of limitation until the 2000s, it has been too hard for victims to have this person charged. From my personal experience SAPOL do not give any priority to historical cases. After a victim makes a report, it takes literally years for the offender to be arrested, then years more to get to court. A victim has to be very strong to go through the added trauma.

All extremely logical factors. Knew each other. Grooming. The kids were comfortable. The opposing argument is that IF he was well known local then it's a massive risk factor to groom in public setting. Perhaps he just didn't care because of sociopathic traits. Maybe. if he wasn't sociopathic then doing this in this way is plain crazy. I struggle to determine which it is. I lean to not being local but there long enough on work secondment or similar to groom.

Police aren’t interested in solving the Beaumont case or any child murders for that matter all unsolved says it all.

They haven't got the people power.

yes, a likely scenario.
There are probably more sightings and witness statements withheld by police.
Sightings that may indicate a direction of travel, none of which have been release to us.

A few of Janes schoolmates have talked about being spoken too by police. Iam not sure if this was in the classroom.
So police were thinking the offender knew the victims in some way.

I wonder if any police records are available to read. SAPOL should release a list of information provided by witnesses.
I think at the time, police would have looked at any possible scenario, so talking with school friends would have been logical.

My POI was not a well known local. He lived between Glenelg and Adelaide. He volunteered on one of the rides, meaning he could float in and out when he wanted and wasn't on any employee records. Plenty of time to groom.

Am I to assume he has come on the radar for you because of subsequent history of offending?

I bring up Max Beaumont, brother of Jim (Grant) Beaumont and he was on a convicted sexual assault on a minor charge.
Here is his photo, apparently he lived near the scene of the crime in 66', but don't quote me on that, iv'e been known to be wrong...........Sometimes
He drove a taxi and he would have obviously known the children and they knew him, could he have been the male seen at the reserve with the children that day?
He may have offered them a pound note to get their lunch, Nancy's lunch and his lunch, then offered them a lift home in his taxi.
Does that sound credible, or should I just be quiet and forget I ever mentioned him

Not a bad match for the identikit pictures. Certainly, could be.


I clarified and straightened his image. He has his head tilted back a bit, so to try to correct for this by lengthening his head by 5% and brought the tip of his nose down a bit - see the first image on third row. It's not a bad match to my eye. Problem is a young Stanley Brown and Percy could also fit. Phipps, von Einem and O'Neil wouldn't.

A good question. I am one of his many known victims. Specifically, in relation to the abduction of the Beaumont Children, he has been on my radar since I was in my teens. - so decades. He is also my POI for Kirste Gordon and Joanne Ratcliff. There is also another person, but I won't mention their name at the moment.
He fits the profile. Age, height, hair, looks. Geographical profile - he lived in an ideal location.
I know his history/background, some of his work places, 'playgrounds', behaviours, narsicistic ways, charisma, grooming techniques.
I have theories about his triggers for both abductions. I have been told narcissists usually have triggers. One is the feeling of loosing control. This is the theory I am exploring.
It took 40 very long years to have this person convicted and jailed for 18 years.
This time I want to collate all my facts/theories before presenting them to SAPOL.
Unbelievably, he is still flying under the SAPOL radar.

Agree, it wouldn't be a local as there was a huge risk of many people knowing him. That's one reason I don't think it was Phipps.

Makes sense, I imagine Adelaide/Glenelg at that time many locals, and probably regulars in summer from other parts of Adelaide, would know each other by sight, if not by name.
Your posts have been intriguing, looking forward to when you can reveal more.
What do you think of the Beaumont uncle theory out of curiosity?

I have always said Harry Phipps was not the culprit, even if some people can make money through publishing books that say he's the man.

Phipps was high-profile in the Adelaide/Glenelg area at the time, so an abduction in broad daylight with plenty of witnesses on a crowded day at the beach was far too risky for him.

And besides that, it seems he has been investigated a million times over this case. If he was involved, that clearly points to a cover-up by the cops because Phipps never got accused or charged by them. But even so, I still think Phipps was not involved.

Isn't there a guy from the Adelaide area who said his own father was involved on the BC case and in the mysterious 'Somerton Man' death? Those cases were something like 20 years apart, and the Somerton case occurred 76 years ago!

What about the Pied Piper TV alleged appearance of Jane Beaumont a year after the disappearance? Even Nancy Beaumont saw her on-screen and thought it was Jane!

I believe the children probably died the day they went missing or at least within 24 hours. In those days it was feasible to change the identity of someone, but the case has always had such a high profile that surely as adults, at least one of them would have suspected they weren't who they were. Child abductions end badly in 99% of cases.

Thanks Geoff. I just need a break, while this guy or maybe two guys are still alive.
In regards to the brother. I will think more about your question. Straight up - Although he had priors, I don't think he did it. First, you would think police back then would have questioned him. He would have a red flag to them. Second, don't quote me, but it would be unlikely that a relative would have actually abducted and killed them. More than likely he would have already had enough access to molest them. It would be interesting to research percentages of relative murders, for molestations.
