Any news on this during the week?
Was expected this week, but looking like next week now, definitely coming but legal needs to sign off on one final thing.

There's no big fan fare like there was over the Phipps dig which is probably a good thing. Cops never said Phipps was now cleared when they found nothing and had a few things to check out, which makes me wonder if he was involved?

Children disappeared 26th January 1966. Is your informer 71 years now? So wold ha have been around 19 years at the time?

My money is on the Phipps story being an absolute furphy

"Police examining leads in Beaumont children mystery, warn overstating significance distresses children’s family

POLICE say they are examining leads over the disappearance of the Beaumont children but stress they do not want the significance of their inquiries “overstated”, given the ongoing distress it causes the missing children’s family.
On Thursday, a 71-year-old man faced the Adelaide Magistrates Court charged with bestiality — an allegation that was withdrawn by prosecutors.
The man, whom The Advertiser has chosen not to name, has been purportedly linked to the 1966 disappearance of Jane, Arnna and Grant Beaumont by a victim of child sex crimes.
Other claims made by that victim, on prior occasions, have been investigated by SA Police but were not supported by evidence.
On Thursday, an SA Police spokesman confirmed information had “recently” been received “in respect to several suspects”.
“From time to time, new information is provided to police in connection to the disappearance of the Beaumont children,” he said.
“On each occasion this information is assessed and prioritised for investigation.
“It is not until these claims are fully investigated that we will be able to determine if they are credible.”
But such claims could cause “false expectations and unnecessary distress to family members” if the significance of the information was “overstated”, he said.
“There have been many previous false hopes generated about potential suspects that have amounted to nothing when investigated,” he said.
In February, Major Crime detectives excavated the New Castalloy factory in North Plympton and unearthed the bones of horses or cows, not humans."

Who is the alleged that the Advertiser won't name do we know?

BlueE seems to have mentioned a name a few posts above in connection with McIntyre.

BlueE seems to have mentioned a name a few posts above in connection with McIntyre.
I'm just trying to keep up with what's going on. A name is mentioned a couple of pages back of a contemporary of Munro who was charged with multiple historical child sex abuse. His name didn't seem to be suppressed in Queensland. He was extradited to SA on other charges. One charge of bestiality has been withdrawn.
There is a witness who was a little boy at the time of the children's disappearance and other witnesses confirming, who could be identifying his friend (TM) as being seen with the BC and McIntyre.

BREAKING NEWS: 71 John David Pike has been extradited from South Australia to Queensland to face 20 historic child sex offences. He is also said to have ties to Tony Munro, who had also been investigated in the Missing Beaumont Children case, and while he wasn't convicted of those crimes, he is currently serving time for similar crimes in Australia.

Rereading the "Police examining leads in Beaumont children mystery, warn overstating significance distresses children’s family" article on 7th June which suppresses the name of a 71 year old man who faced the Adelaide Magistrates Court and purportedly linked to the 1966 disappearance of Jane, Arnna and Grant Beaumont by a victim of child sex crimes (little boy at the time). Don't know his name.

This is a different 71 year old man, to 71 year old John Pike who was extradited from SA to Queensland on 30th May to face at least 20 charges of historical child abuse in Queensland. John Pike is not alleged to be involved with the BC disappearance but is known to be a close friend of Tony Munro.

It is not known who the suppressed man is and what the status of the investigation is regarding him in connection the the BC.

Video released by 9 news today. Police are going back to dig at another sport at Phipp's old factory, Castalloy. Play the video, not sure why it's attached to this report.

Is it every time a lead comes up pointing to McIntyre's property this comes up?

Still so much activity around this I'm getting confused with all the players but I'd thought Phipps had essentially been ruled out. This new dig is to settle concerns investigators were digging in the wrong place?

POLICE were at the crime scene just hours after the Beaumont children were killed, claims a man who has provided a statement to SA Police’s Major Crime branch.

Detectives are now examining the man’s claims — the latest among hundreds made as the 52-year-old cold-case mystery continues to baffle authorities.

The man, who for legal reasons cannot be identified, first told police late last year that, as a child, he not only saw Jane, Arnna and Grant Beaumont playing with three men at Glenelg Beach on January 26, 1966, but he later walked in on two of those same men as they abused the children.

He has claimed the children were taken to his family home and were abused and killed in his bedroom and that he himself narrowly escaped also being killed that day.

But the boldest of his claims, that two members of the Women’s Police Branch came to his rescue and took him from the home to their Angas St base in the city that night, will be critical in validating or eliminating the man’s claims.

That last piece is amazing if true. Calling docks . Any other updates for us?
