Thought a thread should be started for discussions regarding the best downgrade options from here until Round 22. I'm interested in potential scoring capabilities, game time, chance of playing the season out - for each position - and best time to bring them in.

Discuss.

If you're talking about downgrading, Angus Graham may be a good choice in the rucks department, as he is a rookie. He is named to debut this week.

Well not being a selector I can't be certain, out of the three I'd say in order of probability of playing the rest of the season..

Connors>Gill>Graham...but keep in mind they have played 1,1,and 0 games so can't be too sure...

I'm not convinced on Gill. He's a mature body at i think 24 and can take a mark, but my god has to be one of the worst kicks i've ever seen at afl level!

Still, at rookie prices i spose is ok if he gets enough of the ball again this week.

I'm actually thinking of trading Alwyn Davey for Dixon this week

All I want is a guy that plays every week and Dixon still continues to get a game even though he's done very little. I'll get around 150K as well :thumbsu:

Talk is that Dixon will be dropped so that would be a terrible choice. Ended up going with Riewoldt from Richmond.

Thinking of getting both Gill and Connors in this week. Options to downgrade are Gray or Nathan Ablett, and Higgins or Martin Clarke.

Will Gray keep playing?
Will Clarke play the year out or will he be put back onto the rookie list?

What was Jamison for Carlton's game like on the w/e?

Pick up prospect for 69 600?
Did a good job in defence but don't expect big DT numbers.

A mate of mine got fed up with Fev when he got suspended and traded him for Alwyn Davey. Davey then proceeded to break his arm that very week and Fev has been great. He is spewing.
