Once it is finished, the sports media have nothing but footy to write about!

Soon we will be bombarded with stories about how useless rejects have been "training the house down" at their new clubs.

Or how ageing hacks are "in the best condition for years"

How Paul Lynch has been undergoing exciting experimental physio to combat his dodgy hamstrings.

How Shane Crawford feels "mentally refreshed"

How Buckley has been "getting along like a house on fire" with Collingwood's younger players.

How Richmond is "instating a new, tougher, culture"

Ditto: StKilda/Geelong

How high confidence is at St Kilda with uber-coach Blight at the helm ("Gehrig has shed ten Kilos, is in the best condition of his life, AND, feels metally refreshed!")

How Kevin Sheedy reckons Essendon has to win the next 5000 GF's to atone for 1999.

I, for one, can't phucking wait!

If the ansett cup result is replicated exactly in the premiership once more then there may be not much to talk about after the AC Grand final in years to come.

Just think - a 3 month pre-season, 5 weeks of ansett cup and 26 weeks of boring meaningless premiership action, only to say the AC winner also picked up the flag also.

phew, i thought you were going to say Anna Kournikova

(these are lines taken from the best god damn song in the world)

I look into your eyes and i say, I see a part of me.
And when you smile, you light the room.
Sorry i have to go away, no please don't misconstrue, i just hope you understand one day, the hardest part was leaving you.

Well this song has a meaning to me and another person in my life. I don't think it is a sad song as we both know that it will all end well. And your right, life is too short, that is why i am not bringing it to waste.

I look into your eyes and i say, I see a part of me.
