I think Akermanis is one of the most under-rated players of the last 30-40 years. Ok - that's only my opinion (correct though it be).

I think being a d!ck for a large part of his late- and post-career period has clouded some memories. Flower is a legendary, great player and fan favourite - but I think Aker may just be a better player.

It's a close call. Aker and Flower both make my top ten players seen. Dead right about Aker being underrated.

I would make the following changes

Wanganeen out for me. McLeod or Chris Johnson in.
Aka out for Flower.
Mitchell out for Greg Williams.
Hawkins out for Greig or Dunstall.

I would try and find space for Mcleod and Wanganeen but if I could only have one then McLeod.
Would keep Aka in with Flower.
Hawkins definitely out for Greig - I would have Matera and Schimma ahead of Hawkins as well.
Dunstall definitely in.
And I cannot believe they went with Mitchell ahead of Williams, I thought I was seeing things. Mitchell is not in the same league as Diesel. The whole team loses all credibility because of that selection. But I guess it all comes down to me being a footy expert, Parkin and Walls are not.
