I got banned recently too. A bit miffed as I do tend to bet with them at the track, perhaps the last couple of months only Friday Faves AFL though.

I asked if it is permanent - short response was that it could be lifted if it can be seen that I'm betting in events other than promos. Which I do, but perhaps not enough lately?????

Has anyone else been banned and subsequently had it lifted?

Nope - tried putting once a year family and friends bets through during cup week as well to get the normal turnover up as well but they still wouldn't lift it.

It was for PDL a fortnight ago too. Class is class, I'm not saying he'll win but he is a winning chance if that makes sense. At the current prices and in particular with the DFO I'm more than happy to be on Manighar at $15+

It seems a lot of people have complaints about/problems with these online bookies. Are they actually any good? I'm only a small time punter, but thinking about starting up an account somewhere just for convenience (and the odds seem better than the TAB).

The only positive TAB have is convenience regarding collecting. If your able to wait 2 days for a cash out then you are crazy to use the Tab.

Not really, they should be used just like the corporates. They have top price far more often than someone like Waterhouse.

Thats why it's best to have a few accounts. Horse racing wise betfair would beat TAB everytime.

Yeah, I'm in vic so no bonuses for me, and I don't bet often enough to have emultiple accounts. Just thought I'd ask the question because this forum is littered with complaints about the online books. Thanks for the advice people.

I am from Vic aswell but have never not got the bonus. If u a ask or complain but in a nice way they normally give it.

Can someone tell me, what's to stop you putting in an address in NSW, rolling through the bonus, and then changing your address to VIC before you have to do the details validation?

Got an email saying Betstar introducing the protest payout that most sites have now, and back dating it to the weekend so that sea moon punters get the win. Just checked and money is in my account. Betstar still Awesome!
