They're clever the way they do it. There isn't a real short priced favourite in the NRL this week. Souths and Gold Coast are the two shortest favourites, but they're only around $1.40-$1.50 at most places.

I'm not sure I'd want to be putting my money on the Roosters away to the Warriors, or the Storm away to the Cowboys. Bellamay has already stated he will be resting players due to the short turn around.

I'll probably put money on Brisbane due to the Dragons coming off a five day break, as well as Gold Coast, Souths and maybe the West Tigers and Manly.

I totally missed out last week as I was working and the promo only lasted a couple of hours. But in the past, I have got on for $50 even though it said $25 was the max bet. Maybe they fixed it up.

That's a shame, but fair.

Betstar have blocked me from betting on $2 favourites... "awesome" company

Apparently I am not a recreational gambler because I only have bet on $2 favourites so far... go figure that, someone who bets very infrequently is not a recreational gambler?

Betstar are like every other betting agency: only out to get you hooked and lose money to them, soon as they work out you have enough self-control not to take dumb odds, you are banned from their promo.
