Prediction The Big Big Media Prediction Thread

Remove this Banner Ad

As we approach the end of the season the sea of media bobble heads are spouting their theories on what West Coast will do, what they should do, who’s staying, who’s going etc etc

Some will be silly, some will be guesses, several will be made up and perhaps a handful might actually be on the money

Those who get it right through dumb luck or actual inside knowledge/good reporting will be sure to let us know

However, the howlers and the stupid will easily be forgotten in the wave of junk that makes the plastic sea of waste in the Pacific Ocean look like a regular garbage day

So that’s what this thread is about. We’re going to keep the receipts each time someone makes a claim and when the season, trade period, draft and overall off season end we’ll see who got things right and laugh at those who got it horribly wrong

If you see a prediction in the media, post a link in this thread and I’ll keep an index of them all so they can be revisited. To keep the thread uncluttered save discussion for the other threads as much as possible

To get things started, Sam Edmund on SEN declaring Barrass to Sydney is close to a formality and will be happening

Tom Barrass (West Coast Eagles)

Tom Barrass, close to a formality to Sydney, I’m hearing,” Edmund began on SEN’s Whateley.

“That will be happening. Signed a five-year deal at the Eagles in 2021 so he’ll need to be traded and that’s the whole point, isn’t it?

“He has currency as the Eagles look to rebuild. Sydney, well they have to give something decent.

“A 27-year-old best and fairest winner and a premiership defender. They have been into him for a while, Sydney. There is a link there and this is not new interest from club to player, but this year it sounds like it’s absolutely happening.”
