Collingwood to have 4/6 All Australian defenders next year. (O'Brian, Shaw, Davis, Reid)

Seedsmen to seriouslly struggle in the AFL if he gets a game

Ugle and Farmer to never play an AFL game

Apologies if its too far out, but Wellingham will not be in black and white this time next year. With the squeeze now on I believe it'll be inevitable that we lose a best 22 player come the conclusion of 2012 and IMO he'll be the one to make way for the likes of Fasolo and Sidebottom to get more midfield time.

Also 6 weeks into 2012 we'll be viewing Nathan Brown as the best recruit of the year after 2011 was a complete write off. Because a fit Brown was the difference between us winning and losing the premiership this year!

Travis Cloke will be offered $1 million by a rival club next year

Scott Pendlebury will be offered $1 million by a rival club next year

Dane Swan will go back to back with Brownlow wins

Bucks will take us to a Grand Final in his first year

Nathan Brown will be AA full back

Travis Cloke will be offered $1 million by a rival club next year
Scott Pendlebury will be offered $1 million by a rival club next year
* ^^^^^^ That is a certainty and GWS will be the club.

* Josh Thomas will play many AFL games in 2012.

* Wellingham will be the player squeezed out at the end of 2012 due to salary cap constraints, meaning we are able to retain Cloke, Pendlebury, Reid, Sidebottom & O'Brien. GWS snap him up and we receive a 1st round pick as compo.

* Brendan Goddard will not be at St.Kilda at this time next year

* Hawthorn to use injuries, again, as an excuse for not winning it all..OK not really a big call.:D

I'm gonna go against what many are saying and make the call that Wellingham will really step up in 2012 and become an absolute gun. I still think he's underrated.

Buckley to switch up our game style quite a bit and cause a few losses early in the season, only to pay off later on once the team adjusts.

Reckon GWS might offer him more or even Double That:(

No chance it will be double. That would be insane unless it was for a really short period like one season. They will have a bulging salary cap as all their young stars get to their second contracts. I believe their salary cap also reduces at some point. It is a really fine balance for the expansion teams. They have a lot of tools and advantages to work with but they still have to manage it well. They have'nt been written a blank check rather given a leg up.

-Swanny to do a back to back Brownlow.
-Mick Malthouse to take up a mentoring position at StKilda in 2013
-Wood proves himself as a 1st choice ruckman, takes over from Jolly.
-Our first draft selection comes a very close second in the rising star next year

Quicky put it nicely, there is no way they can offer Pendles that much. Especially if the deal is for anything longer than 3 years (which would probably be a given to get him up there) as their cap starts to dip in 2015.

This may be the big call thread, but IMO calls should have at least some sort of believability to them.

We will go backwards under Buckley & co. after struggling to make up for the loss of Malthouse, Neeld & Watters.

The natural (and quite understandable) reaction from the majority of the supporter base is to be quite optimistic of what the future holds with the new coaching panel. A small part of me thinks that we have lost too many years of experience at the one time and will fall behind the top few teams next season with the adjustment to a new gameplan and life under a new coaching structure.

I guess the counter argument is the Geelong side of 2011 and that is a very effective example of losing experience from not only the coaching panel but the playing stocks and still succeeding.

I really hope I am wrong but it seems on this board this potential issue has been largely ignored. I would have at least thought there would have been some discussion about it.

Huge speculation over Ben Reids future as Pendlebury and Cloke re-sign with the pies midway through the season.

Well One of those 3 Would have Massive Speculation over them before they Re-Sign so that is not really a Big Call

Odds on: Clarke to struggle, Fasolo to shine
Evens: Witts to play 10 games, J. Thomas to play 5
Long Shot: Dids to regain his best form, Dawes to start clunking pack marks

-Wood proves himself as a 1st choice ruckman, takes over from Jolly.

Pendlebury to win brownlow.

This.

Simon Buckley to blossom and keep Johno out of the side for the second half of the year.

Cloke to win the Coleman medal.

Paul Seedsman to have an outstanding year in the seniors (dozen games) and have us all raving about him.

1. New game style under Buckley finds out a few of our players, particularly the lack of pace and penetration of kicking amongst the midfield. The first year of adaptation to the new style taking us A LITTLE BACK BEFORE FORWARDS.

2. Didak to go down the slippery dip

3. The hype on Witts, Maloney ect far exceeds the performance in 2012.

4. Hawthorn and Carlton to play in the big one, with Hawthorn winning.

5. Cameron Wood delisted this time next year

6. If Nathan Brown stays fit and in form, ditto Chris Tarrant, Ben Reid to be used up forward

7. Geelong called too old and too slow once again, but show they have one of the best group of youngsters outside of GC and GWS. Hit by a Premiership hangover in a narrow Preliminary Final loss to Hawthorn.

8. September/October 2012, will see China call in their exposure to U.S. debt, leading to the largest default in world history and the total collapse of the U.S. economy. Will signal the end of the West's infatuation with far right wing politics and 3 decades of "greed is good".

Collingwood to only lose 1 game next year by under 2 goals.

Witts Mooney Elliot Fasolo all become best 22 2nd half of next year.

J.Thomas Sinclair Ugle Farmer Stubbs Keefe all delisted by this time next year to make way for the SUPERDRAFT, which will be first draft in MANY we keep all our top pics and get some exellence.

Collingwood VFL side to make top 4, witts top goal kicker until his AFL debut and Tom Young wins B and F whilst playing a handful of AFL games.

Elliot becomes the new cult hero at Collingwood

Nathan Buckley delists all 40 players before drafting only himself.

The new one man CFC proves quite competitive in the pre-season, including an impressive ten goal win over GWS.

All comes unstuck in Round One though, as Bucks drafted himself in the rookie draft (to make him earn his own spot on the list) and without a long-term injury to swap for, Collingwood have no listed players and forfeit the game against Hawthorn.
