Krisztian Nemeth off to Blackpool for a month.

Good move. Gives him some decent games coming back from injury, then we can use him late in the season.

Good move for him I do agree. Him coming back and being a part of the first team... unfortunately, I don't.

Another shite draw with that other team that plays in Liverpool. When we travel to Goodison, all we need to do is man mark Cahill at set peices and we could literally play until the end of the world and Everton wouldnt score.

Torres' bit of skill was simply outrageous. Gerrard put it on target, woeful keeping from Howard though. Again we should have won, another team comes to Anfield and just parks the bus. It was actually embarrasing for Everton and they certainly deserved nothing from that game. We'll beat them at Goodison because they will be forced to attack in front of their own fans and we will score 2 or 3 goals.

Babel played horribly, is it too late to sell him on in January. It's all there, I feel, but i just dont think he is going to put it together. We looked infinitely more dangerous once Riera was brought on. Torres is looking sharper and sharper. Massive bonus to get him back, fit and firing.

Dossena wasnt woeful for once but his final ball is still wayward, he does a great job in getting forward but his delivery is consistently crap. Insua back please.

It's simple. We need our form to improve. Starting now. If it doesnt, we will slide right out of the FA Cup, right out of the title challenge, but never out of Europe, we always make the semi's :D

Oh and on another note, another amusing FA Cup draw. Arsenal, Chelsea and Utd get absolute shit opposition and we get stuck with Villa. Typical.
Three points:

Arsenal haven't made it to the next round yet.

Villa haven't made it to the next round yet.

Oh, and guess what the third point is? Liverpool haven't made it to the next round yet.

Typical??

Here is a little history lesson jod of previous 2 FA CUP runs

07/08
Liverpool played Luton, Havant & Waterlooville, Barnsley (lost 2-1)
Man Utd played Aston Villa, Spurs, Arsenal, Pompey (lost 1-0)

06/07
Liverpool played Arsenal in 3rd round and lost 3-1
Man Utd played Aston Villa, Pompey, Reading, Boro, Watford (Semi's), Chelsea (Final lost 1-0)

One would suggest its about time you played some EPL sides;)

Hmm... our 3rd round match against Southampton was our first Non-Premiership opposition since the 2005-06 season. So the 5th Round tie will be our 2nd in 3 campaigns. So yeah...typical.

We've got an ever growing little army of Paul Tomkins here.

Overwhelming positivity, when the club's down the shitter. But shhhhhhh don't say anything negative, even if it's so plainly obvious. That's bad.
That's a bit rough, i don't think any of us have reached his level yet surely? ;)

We're not on the poo just yet (not onfield anyway) but we do need a win against Wigan. We need it as much for our own confidence as we do to keep our title challenge on track and the closing pack at arm's length.

I'm not sure whether Torres should start. I've a feeling the previous recurrence of his hamstring came about from playing him too often after returning from injury and becoming fatigued. Maybe the prodigal Irishman will start and bang in a hat trick to silence the critics. Or not.

As for the comedy/tragedy off the field the latest I've read is that DIC might be sniffing around again. Who knows? The feeling is that no serious moves will be made until the summer, when the two cowboys 6 month loan extension nears expiry, with the resultant decrease in market value of the Club. It just goes on and on......

Emiliano Insua played the full 90 minutes as Argentina were held to a 2-2 draw by Colombia in the South America U20 Championships on Sunday night.
Colombia shocked Argentina by scoring in the first minute of the game and looked to be set for a famous victory when they went 2-0 up after 22 minutes.

However, goals from Leandro Velazquez and Eduardo Salvio earned Argentina a share of the spoils.

Insua's Argentina play their final group game on Tuesday night when they take on Ecuador.

Argentina have won one and drawn two of their opening three games.

I play five-a-side on Monday nights. We've one bloke, vain and pompous as you like, Liverpool fan naturally. Anyway last night he scored a goal with a back-heel and barked out "Yeah what a screamer... Torres!!!"

Few minutes later he's put through clear on an open goal, but instead of sidefooting to tap it in he winds up for a big one and misses the ball completely.

I couldn't resist it.

"Robbie Keane!!!"
