The frustrating thing (well, one of them) for me is that the talk when Keane first came was that him and Torres would be paired up front, but come the start of the season Torres was alone up there and Keane was in behind him.
OK, so it worked for a while, but when Torres got injured, Keane was either left on his own (never going to work) or left on the pine.
Surely now Torres is back it wouldn't hurt to go back to how things were at the start of the season - that kind of 4-2-3-1 thing but with Keane - or, heaven forbid, actually play the two of them up front as per the original plan and let Keane do the only thing he was ever good at - buzz around the goals and kick the bloody thing in the back of the net.
It's no good expecting a guy who was never one to sit on and give off the ball to become that sort of player overnight. And let's face it, the current setup isn't working so why not give him a go in his natural position? Never know, we may even get something for our 20mill or whatever it was...
Chelsea lineup:
Reina
Carragher M Skrtel F Aurélio Arbeloa
J Mascherano, Y Benayoun, Gerrard, Alonso
Keane, Torres
Room for Riera in there possibly, then a bench of Babel, Kuyt (I know, I know), Agger, Ngog maybe...
