Not exactly gutted Keane is going though. Not as gutted as I would have been if Sami had gone. Apparently both Newcastle & Sunderland went in for Sami but were both met with a big fat f**k off! Good. Also read rumor (on RAWK & TIA) that Sami went crook after not being included in CL squad, and will now be named in it! Good.
For all the love l have for Sam, Sam, Sammi... he's past it. Absolute Kop Legend, but he's made to look like having a turning circle similar to a 10 tone truck. Too slow and only value when its whizzing into the box... remarkable with his head.

:)

Here's the consensus.

16m bid from Spurs, we're going to respond right about now.

We'll get Saviola on loan, we'll make a play hopefully for either one of Quaresma on loan or Arshavin.

A few Italian clubs are looking at Dossena, it's looking like we'll lose a little on that deal, he'll be sold for about 5.5m.

Imagine having Drogba on the bench
Drogba hasn't been any good for a season and a half now. Yet, he's still better than Anelka. If they want to put their best striker on the bench, then fine.

Imagine having such luminaries such as the past it Deco, 10m pound flop Ivanovic, 2 young lads with no or very limited first team experience, a 3rd choice keeper etc. etc.

or the choice between Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez, Berbatov
Well, too bad for us we can't afford to have a group of 100m+ pound strikers.

and even Arsenal have got injuries to Fabergas, Walcott, Eduardo and still manage to roll out a Van Pervert and an Adebayor... even Bendtner for god sake.
Bendtner is rubbish.

Yeah, their great depth is why they've got Denilson, Eboue and co. starting matches.

What depth are you suggesting we have? Particularly when we struggle to score against the likes of Stoke, Hull, Spam and Wigan. Hmmm...

Benayoun, Babel, Agger, three pretty handy first team players right there.

Ngog is a young striker just finding his feet
Lucas isn't the WORST player in the world
Dossena is a fat ****

Sorry... do you know what position all the above play? Hardly goal scoring options. Babel cant get on the park let alone, score. Man U goal is virtually his only claim to fame, bar the one against Chelsea last year in junk time.

Agger... yeah ok.

Ngog... looked out of his depth in the Carling Cup god aweful display against Spurs.

Lucas Leiva IS the worst player in the world... would take Dean Windass at a pinch over him.

I'll give credit to Benayoun... love the way this guy goes about it. Loved him ever since he destroyed us in the FA Cup final. Always look unpredictable when he is in the side... which is a good thing.

Funnily enough, I've never seen you post here before we beat Chelsea...

You don't think Agger is good?

I'd say he's just about the worlds best third choice central defender.

Its because l havent posted here... usually post on UK Liverpool forums. BUt whilst l was posting on here about my AFL club, thought l'd take a geezer at this board. Any problem with that?

Love Agger... but we were talking about depth in scoring options. Wouldnt really call Agger a scoring option, would you?

Reds winger Adam Hammill is set to go out on loan to Barnsley for a three-month spell.
The 20 year old, who recently completed another loan stint with Blackpool, will play with the Yorkshire side up until May 3.

Hammill is a product of the Liverpool Academy and was a member of the 2006 Youth Cup-winning side. He is contracted at Anfield until 2011.

Yes I would actually.

His ball control at the back, willingness to drive forward and his technical ability on the ball is fantastic. He'll contribute to a lot of Liverpool's goals when he gets in the team ahead of Carra.

Are you suggesting Rafa play Agger AHEAD OF CARRAGHER?

Sorry mate... you just showed yourself up for the moron that you are. You'd get bashed in Liverpool for saying shit like that. Carragher is in the best 3-4 defenders in the league... Agger is not even close.

Reckon there wouldnt be one person on this site that would agree with that rubbish.

Ps. Having you're nic as TorresIsGod just proves that you've only just jumped on board the graveytrain mate.

;)

Ah yes.

I've just jumped on. You've got me.

Looks like I'd get beaten up a lot in Liverpool then.

Agger would play the ball to the midfielders.
Hoofagher plays it over them, eliminating then and yells 'hey Nando, head this!' every time he gets possession.

Liverpool Football Club have confirmed that they've granted Robbie Keane permission to talk to Tottenham Hotspur about a possible return to White Hart Lane but insist no deal has been finalised between the two clubs.
An LFC spokesperson told Liverpoolfc.tv: "We've allowed Robbie to talk to Spurs but we've not yet finalised a deal with them for the player."

Liverpool Football Club have this afternoon confirmed they have reached agreement with Spurs for the transfer of Robbie Keane back to the White Hart Lane club.
Having earlier granted the striker permission to talk to his former club, a spokesman for LFC told Liverpoolfc.tv: "Liverpool Football Club have reached agreement with Tottenham Hotspur for the sale of Robbie Keane."

We better not sell Keane without a replacement. Why great players like Arsharvin and Quaresma are been bandied about, yet we are not involved in either deals is beyond me. Both those players would be fantastic for us.

I feel sorry for Robbie Keane. He got a raw deal, he got to play for his dream club but the manager never wanted him in the first place. I hope he stays and bangs them in for us over the rest of the season. Plus we have no back up, Saviola is shit.

I cant wait for the window to close to assure me that Agger is still with us.

This news better be followed by us spending that 15 million on someone awesome.
