I think after seeing liverpools champions league strip we should banish the carlsberg logo and have an all red strip. Get rid of the adidas stripes as well.
Yep, lets go the no sponsors route, that will go down well.

Just quietly, you guys were playing against Marseille in the red the other night, but last year, you played in the black. Did Marseille opt to wear white to accomodate you guys, or have you finally realised that grey and green kits are terrible and have refused to wear them...

Your black kit FTW!

And also a warm, merry welcome to all the new Liverpool Football Club supporters that have co-incidently found this board over the last week or two...

Which we should have done when we wore it against Aston Villa, and the aqua/blue/greenish/crap kit that we have for European nights should never have been to approved, why scrap the black one? It's the best 'away' or 'third' kit we've had in years. Bring it back!

He made a bet with fantastic_crows that if United won the league he'd never post here again, if Arse did f_c never would.

God knows what would have happened if Chelsea had nicked it.
I cant possibly believe anyone could be so stupid to make a bet like that after the Arsenal meltdown vs Birmingham....

Speaking of silly posts, I have a certain bump to make...:D

I actually rubbed my hands together getting ready to reply to the next few posts.

UL NVR WLK ALN, Im 19, not 12, the number comes from an footy number back in the day...

All teams who have anything resembling success will get its bandwagon fans, that goes for any sport, or any league within a sport. However, the number of Liverpool fans who "just found the football board/rarely post on bigfooty/just found this thread" is amazing...

Some of the gold of recent times, from the "Scouse faithful"

I think after seeing liverpools champions league strip we should banish the carlsberg logo and have an all red strip. Get rid of the adidas stripes as well.
Who do you think you are, Barcelona. Chances are the same people who think this are the ones complaining that Liverpool dont have as much cash to spend on players as Chelsea or Manchester United. Money is now a part of the game, but remember, 99% of club in the English system dont have it as good as Liverpool

Awesome! Just found this board and thread. Good to see so many Reds around

Pity that there are alot of other chops coming in and adding their worthless opinions in, but what can you do? Everyone wants to talk about the Greatest English side in history whether it be good or bad.

Man Utd better hope they get CR back in form quick, they are a one man team and believe me... it's showing.

Take care reds fans

P.S Any SA peeps here?

T.H & G.G OUT!!!!
Been a member of BigFooty since October 2007 this person, yet found the football board not just after one of your best starts to a league season, but a win over one of your biggest rivals and a stunning Gerrard led comeback away in the UCL. Maybe you only found it today, but it was a very convienent time to go looking for the board, so to say

just saw the Gerrard goal, has to be his best goal ever!
A very big call... Gerrard has had plenty of better, and more important hits. For me, the Olympiakos goal takes the cake and IMO, got you guys into the "Big 4" rather then being just one of Liverpool, Newcastle, pre-Roman Chelsea. That UCL win of yours was a fantastic run, and its Gerrards goal you can credit it too... Or to be more correct goals, since he scored a few in that campaign, including the first against Milan...

bout ****ing time we beat those *****

GO LIVERPOOL

btw who is Reira and where did we get him from??
Enough interest in Liverpool to post on BF after a quality win, but not enough to keep even slightly interested in transfer talk, espcially when Reira will be of more use to you guys then Keane (not necessarily the better player but swapping from a wide player like Benayoun to Reira is a big change

Im not saying that everyone who posts rarely is a bandwagoner/tool etc... BlueBen is one who while still a BigFooty newbie, posts with reasonable insight and intelligence and take pride in his team. Kudos for that...

Djibril Cisse says it best

Settle down guys, there's only a few who I've never seen post in here before, the others are all regulars.. but of course a win over Man Utd is going to generate interest in those 'occasional supporters'
Im sure the regular Scouse posters in DC, jod, bus24, gytre, esti, kane plus the others that I have missed will enjoy their moment in the sun, and fair enough too, as Liverpool deserved to win against United...

But welcome to the board BTW...

Mate, I wouldnt support Perth Glory and go to every home game I can if it was purely for the wins. Since my support started only 2 years ago, when I moved to Perth, I dont think it was a results oriented choice of club.

And if you had been even looking at these boards over the last 2 months, you would know I am not a Tigers fan...
