Who the **** are you anyway???

Why do so many people on here whinge when an opposition supporter posts on "their" board? Don't you like getting a different opinion? Banter is always good and it's interesting to hear what opposition fans have to say (yes, even jod sometimes).

I don't recall you posting too much on this board yet you have the nerve to come in here and slag off some of the best posters because they are saying 'not nice' things about a team you supposedly support.
Funny that you claim to support the banter yet you didn't jump to Jod's defense when he posted on the Manure board after the win last week. Especially when your fellow supporters and Moomba got their panties in a bunch just because all he posted was how is everyone going.

I'm all for banter, just some people get so sensitive about it when their team loses but have no problems dishing it out at other times

Wow, how sensitive are people on here. Wasn't trolling, wasn't baiting, just giving an honest opinion of where I think Liverpool are at. It's hardly a radical opinion, and you'd find most football people who are capable of independent thought think similar.

Posted by an ITK on RAWK

little bit of news i have just become privy too.

Before the weekend GG informed Moores of intentions of selling the club having been asked by DM what the future was in terms of direction/ownership/stadium, he has now confirmed that he is now looking to end his association with the club and will work hard to find the best long term solution that will make the club what it should be. He is looking at making his move now and has informed Hicks about this also.

I did ask if he thought GG would accept a cut price figure which he said he believes he would as he realises he can't provide the clout and ENERGY yes ENERGY to push the club that extra bit further.

I dont know what will happen now whether Hicks has to try and buy Gillet out or whether Hicks will also throw his hand in. Its all very quiet from Hicks camp.
So here's hoping things will soon come to a conclusion on the yank's reign. Mind you i've been hoping that since the start of the year :(

Nothing different really.

Gillett has been wanting out for Yonks, but Hicks has been a complete **** about it and blocked it.

Hopefully the period where he was able to block it is now up. Once Gillett sells up, Hicks will go too.

Difference in posts IMO...

Saying "hi" is by no means intelligent nor about Manchester United. Someone such as moomba, FC, RL or myself coming in and giving our views about where Liverpool sit, what they need to do to improve, and rebuttling arguements from both other opposition fans and LFC fans have to say about the team is all fine...

While people have said things about Jods post, notice Molon's, which while slightly baiting, that no-one has complained, because it was said with a bit more class and style...
The other three mentioned I can tolerate and will read what they have to say, when RoosterLad posts in here, I just skip his post.

I tend to think that Liverpool would be better served focussing their energies on staying above the chasing pack (Villa, Man City) than focussing on a pretty unattainable dream of catching up to Chelsea and Man United.
Villa and City are both good sides but im not worried about them overhauling us. Neither are good enough or consistent enough. Obviously City will become more of a threat in the future with all their money.

Right now, im more concerned with Chelsea and United, than Villa and City.

Chelsea/Manchester United didn't drop points they shouldn't have?

Not to mention they both had very worse injury runs than your team.

Wake up kid and have a nice glass of reality juice.
Yeah they did. So did we. It's about minimizing those dropped points. And improving against the other top 4 which we have already done by beating United.

We were 11 points behind United last season but they got all 6 in our head to head. We reverse that we finish 1 point above them. Obviously still behind Chelsea and Arse but that how close it really is. A couple of results.

Injuries are injuries, everyone has them, you deal with it.

Man City beat Man United twice last season, there is a big difference between winning the odd game against top teams (something Liverpool have had huge difficulty in doing) and mounting a title run.
??

But City lost 13 times. So what if they beat United twice. Mounting a challenge consists of two things. Consistency and beating your main rivals. We have consistency, we have struggled to beat our main rivals. City have neither. We have one down, it's the second we struggle with.

We beat United though, so if we can continue in that vein of form against Chelsea, Arsenal and the return match against United then were a big show.

West Ham did the double a couple of years ago too and they almost got relegated.

Oh and Djibby, you may have beaten United but what did you do the week after? Draw 0-0 at home to Stoke! That is hardly Title winning form.
Yeah it's a bad result but United dropped two points at home to Newcastle??

Arsenal lost to Fulham.

Chelsea drew to bottom side Tottenham??

We wont win every match, but we just have to make sure those blips are less and less frequent.

Really? Why bother with Pennant? Nice to see Agger back and Degen gets his debut. No Gerrard at all?? I see we have the back up plan on the bench in case it goes bad. Torres and Alonso.

Love it!! :D

The United lot are a sensitive bunch. I love a bit of banter and dont mind anyone coming into this thread. It's a forum after all, were supposed to discuss things.

Utd fans though... big softies really.
