Who the **** are you anyway???

Why do so many people on here whinge when an opposition supporter posts on "their" board? Don't you like getting a different opinion? Banter is always good and it's interesting to hear what opposition fans have to say (yes, even jod sometimes).

I don't recall you posting too much on this board yet you have the nerve to come in here and slag off some of the best posters because they are saying 'not nice' things about a team you supposedly support.
Oh, hit a nerve did i? If you really feel like going through the thread and finding my posts, feel free, there are a fair few...i didnt realise i had to be a "regular" to have an opinion. I didnt "slag off" anybody, i just commented that i find it perplexing why other teams supporters spend so much time in here basically trolling. Thats all. Cheers. :thumbsu:

But City lost 13 times. So what if they beat United twice. Mounting a challenge consists of two things. Consistency and beating your main rivals. We have consistency, we have struggled to beat our main rivals. City have neither. We have one down, it's the second we struggle with.

We beat United though, so if we can continue in that vein of form against Chelsea, Arsenal and the return match against United then were a big show.
I dont think we are consistent. Beating Utd then 0-0 with Stoke at Anfield isnt consistent. We are more consistent the the Villa, City etc. But we dont grind out wins week in, week out like Utd and Chelski.

I think this season already we have shown our best and worst.

IMO, if Villa had more depth in their squad, they would be a real show at challenging us.

Having an opinion different from the "my club can do no wrong brigade" is not trolling.
Fair enough, i just dont see the point, its a Liverpool thread so i figured it would be Liverpool supporters talking about their team and talking them up if they feel like it. Silly me.

Degan suffers Injurt Blow
Rafael Benitez has revealed that Philipp Degen is likely to face a spell on the sidelines after picking up two broken ribs in the Carling Cup win over Crewe.
The Swiss international had to be replaced by Jamie Carragher on 73 minutes and looked to be in some discomfort after suffering the knock in an innocuous looking challenge.

"He has two broken ribs," said Benitez. "He is very unlucky."

Geez, pretty unlucky for the guy. Was there any broadcasts at all of this match?

Far out, he's injury prone alright. On return from a month or so out, he gets broken ribs. Kinell. Unlucky.

Sounded like a typical Agger thunderbolt, from a free kick though I think. Get him back next to Skrtel. Carragher out. Or to right back.

Do you? Last year you dropped points to Birmingham, Reading, Wigan and I'd argue that it's those type of results that cost you the title just as much as the defeats to Chelsea, Man United etc. Been a good start to the season so far, but it doesn't disguise the fact that you've been lucky to get wins against Sunderland and Boro and you dropped points to Stoke. Not really what I'd call consistency.

As for "so what if we beat United twice", thats kind of the point I was making. And it was nice to mention again anyway.

We beat United though, so if we can continue in that vein of form against Chelsea, Arsenal and the return match against United then were a big show.
Like you were last year, and the year before and the year before etc.

I'm not going to tell you not to believe but you can hardly be surprised when people start thinking "here we go again".

If the term "choke" is overused in sport these days, then "trolling" is overused by some members of Bigfooty.

"I don't agree with what you said, you Sir are trolling! Red card Mod!"

The good thing about this board is you can offer an opinion which differs and not cop a card, let's keep it that way.

Dagger from a free kick and Lucas with a header, what is the world coming too?

Hopefully next time Lucas plays, he plays further forward through the middle (not stuck out on the left).

Nice to win, but disappointing to concede a goal against Crewe, especially from a set-piece at home, but we're through the next round, Dagger got vital minutes as did some of the kids, hopefully Dagger has done enough to earn a place in the XI against Everton, pushing Carra to RB.

He wont, Dirka Dirka will be straight back in.

I actually think Airblower has been poor this season, except for his last two matches, I'd like to see Dagger partner Skrtel (as I'm sure we all do)...

Back four looks good, if Aureilo is fit. Carra could got right back with Dagger coming in and Arbeloa to the bench.

The rest look good, but would not be surprised if Keane slipped in there for Kuyt.

Remember what happened the last time Dirk played at Goodison.

Why did he take the penalties again? Weird.

One of them was the winner when when Neville stopped a certain goal with his hand on the line from Lucas, who had already replaced, and outperformed Gerrard.

The first one I have no idea, as that was the penalty that Gerrard won when an Everton player got sent off for bringing him down when he was through on goal.

Pennant MOTM on some reports im reading .

Hopefully doesnt come any where near our starting XI come derby day
Usual Pennant game.

Some nice moments, but mostly just a whole pile of shit.

I'd be freezing the ******** out after his disgraceful attitude last week. He's just a complete A grade ****wit, who should've left when he had the chance last window.

I don't think he's up to Liverpool standard overall, but one thing that's always interested me about Pennant is his ability to actually weight the crosses he delivers into the box so as to try to give our players the best chance of getting on the end of them. He usually doesn't just whip it in to a general area but actually tries to pick out targets in the box and has had some success in doing so. It's quite a useful asset to have and sort of belies his general averageness as a player.

Mentioning dropped points to Birmingham, Reading, Wigan etc last season is just pointless. The other big 4 teams also dropped points in places they shouldnt, Utd being a prime example dropping all 6 to City.

We are consistent enough against teams we should beat to finish in the top 4. To get higher than that, we need to start getting results against our rivals. So far we have done that.

Im not claiming we will win the title, as outside of our terrific game against United, we have been pretty poor and stolen results we didnt deserve. Either way, were a point off top and it's a good start to the season. Week by week...

Diggler is a lock for a game like Everton. I think Airblower has been alright at RB so far this season. Cant see Dagger forcing his way in, even with the goal.
