Cooked it again. I was driving through the area on the way home from work, and I thought screw I'll go back to the shop. Didn't see her there so was like ah well, anyway I found a book I wanted and was waiting in line, when low and behold she walks past, she's coughing and then looks up and says hey again. So I was like alright Ill pay for the book and go and talk to her. So I attempt to do that, but every time I walk down a ****ing isle she changes to the next (no idea if intentional or not). So I thought screw this and I look like a fool and left. Went back to the car, and I thought I've cooked it again, I should have just followed her till I caught up to her. So I wrote down my number and went back into the shop but she was nowhere to be seen! Epic fail.

I woke up this morning to a message on my phone from some girl - it seems I acquired a number last night. Good. The message said "Umm, what?". Interesting. So I go back to read my message. At about 1am last night when I got home, I must have checked the cricket score and proceeded to use the number I had earlier acquired "Get Mitch Marsh up here, I wanna boof him".

Off to a good start.
Alright guys, I've managed to stalk like a boss (Went onto snap chat, recently added contacts, X was there with her surname in the username >> Facebook etc.) She's decent (8/10 judged from a couple of pics). How do I proceed from here?

Ignore my Mitch Marsh man crush exists?
Ignore that I made the comment?
Pretend like it's the first time I'm messaging her?
Unannounced drop-in?

Nothing wrong with a Mitch Marsh man crush.

So matched with a decent looker on Tinder last week. She initiated the conversation surprisingly and was first to throw out a compliment so I'm getting good vibes.

Didn't really say a whole lot after that other than it would be good to meet one night when we're out and about and she didn't seem to mind the idea. I haven't spoken to her about interests or anything yet, nor do I have a number.

If I head out this weekend I was planning on shooting her a message with the intention of meeting her while I'm out. Is this much of an idea? I normally wouldn't do it for a normal date but it's Tinder and after the awkward nature of my last Tinder date, I reckon meeting her in a nightclub setting could break the ice somewhat...

I'd prob just say something like "excuse my Mitch Marsh man crush, clearly sent to the wrong person! How did your night end up anyway?"

Doubt she'd care, bit of banter sent to the wrong person.

I rate meeting them out. You'll both already have had a few so it's less awkward. Find out where she's going before that and just say you'll keep her posted about your whereabouts for the night and hopefully you can cross paths.

The risk with meeting them out is you have about 5 minutes to make an impression. You bore her in her drunken happy state she can easily just knick off back to her friends.

Just ignore my comment about Mitch Marsh, I love watching him bat and when he knocked the top off middle stump I got carried away.

What do you guys do when you get a text from a random number?
Got a text this morning from a random number saying "Good morning babe"
I probably had spoken to this girls weeks ago and then got little or no response from her so gave up and deleted her number.
Now I have no idea who it is.
Do I...
A) Just ask who it is
B) Try to draw information out of her to work out who it is
Or

C) Overthink the text, day after day, without responding until you've convinced yourself it's the police and you go into a anxiety driven psychosis

Why do women bother giving out their numbers in the first place if they won't respond when you call/text? Especially if they acted all keen the night before and even come looking for you so that they can give you a ride home and their friend is also saying that we should exchange numbers?

Just baffling to me.

Chances are that's not their phone number.

Oh right, i guess you've been led along the garden path.
Yeah possibly. Still I've just never actually understood this. I've never given my number to a girl if I wasn't interested at all.

She'd told me where she lives and stuff too. I'm talking specifically. She frequents my local pub it seems so I'll probably run into her again.

Na she hadn't been drinking either.

Have you thought she may have just been busy?
No one can honestly be that busy that they can't pick up their phone to send a short text.
"Sorry I've been busy" is becoming the most common excuse.
They take forever to text you back, but they have the time to jump on facebook or insta and make posts...
