Edit: Also her 21st is this weekend but I feel that's a bad time to make a move.
perfect time to make a move. If you make yourself memorable every time she goes to a 21st she'll think of her's and therefore think of you.

Not that that theory has been field tested, but I really don't think there is a bad time to make a move, there are only bad moves.

Then they went to the malt shop with Richie and Potsie

I have a girlfriend at the moment but like hearing about what people are up to. Gotta say though, a bar is a pretty good place to take a girl. Just a quiet place for a quiet drink. Other guys will back off if they see you one on one with a girl. Also I think going to a bar makes it clear what you are there for more than a movie. If you are keen on a girl just tell her to come for a drink somewhere. Don't ask, just tell her to come. I think deep down all girls just want to go somewhere exciting with a guy and be able to tell there friends about it, you don't get that from movies generally. You also have a bit of a back up that if she resists you can just add after that a few of you are going for a drink.

Now some would say "tonythetiger, it is clear you work at a bar, which one is it?" But you will surprised to learn that I don't work at a bar and am bored after my girlfriend fell asleep an hour ago.

Agreed a bar is good, but I wouldn't exactly call it exciting...

Okay, now to ask for some of my own advice, I guess.

Girl at work. We get on well, she hasn't been around that long, and I am her superior at work. She recently had a boyfriend, but, Facebook tells me that they have broken up. Now, I have just had an operation and am unable to pretty much do anything for 2 weeks. Well, I can, but it will be as blood makes it's way out of my nose. So, I am bored shitless.

Anyway, messaging her today, and she has offered to bring me 'comfort food' and company while I go through this bed rest. I know that this doesn't automatically mean that she is keen, but I don't think it says I have been friendzoned either.

I want to know, what should be my move from here. Obviously, find a time when she can come keep me company. Should I suggest we watch a movie while she's over, or should we just chat?

Also, why do I sound 15 here?

Interesting predicament, if you bleed, game over, if she bleeds, game over. Invite her for a movie, it is pretty much code for hooking up, I know a girl who went to a guys house to watch a movie and was very disappointed and somewhat embarrassed to say that was all they did. If you invite her to watch a movie she will probably ask her friend whether you are keen, it is pretty obvious. If it all turns awkward it ain't your fault. Obvious signs are obvious.

Well, see, it wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't work with her. If it was a friend from some other place where I don't see them so commonly, no issue. If it's awkward, well, add one to the awkward flirting stories.
But, as I said,
1) I am her superior at work. Not boss, but, I have a superior position.
2) I will have to see her a couple of times a week on shifts. I don't work at a huge workplace that rotates shifts, same shifts rostered every week, and we work 2 together.
3) What if I start ******* bleeding all over the joint?!

Bleed on her and let her know what it's like.

I think you should just invite her round to hang out. Once she gets there you can always suggest a movie. "Hey I just got *insert movie here* and was thinking about watching it. Want to watch it with me?"

If she is already offereing to come to your house and bring you food though she is keen.

Alright Lads, want to know if I have been put into the friendzone in the recently discussed case.
Talking today;
Me: Want to come over tonight? If you're not busy/don't have to be up early tomorrow
Her: I unfortunately have to talk to my now ex boyfriend, tomorrow? We can get fat and d&m about it?
Me: I am once again free all day tomorrow. So afternoon/evening/night, whatever suits you best
Her: Okay I'll come tomorrow
Me: Cool. Message me later!
Her: Okay, I will. Let me know what food you want!

Discuss.

D&M is not a good sign me thinks. Nor is her talking about getting fat

Agreed, but specifically referring to her ex as 'my now ex boyfriend' is a positive imo, she clearly wanted to stress that. Also you could probably make it sound as though you're a touch more busy and not just sitting on your couch waiting for her to come over and (hopefully) blow you.

If I had to guess I'd say friend zone unfortunately
