I think the plan was always to give VVD the first half and then Fab the second half. No other option really with Matip, Gomez and Koumetio all out with injuries. Not sure what's going on with Nat Phillips though.

I'm sure we all would but circumstances meant he had to play. It's fine, he literally walked around most of the time haha. Was a breeze for him, he will be ready for Arsenal.

I would say it means he can start against the lesser sides and come on in the 60th or so minute against the top sides.. preserving Bobby a bit more where previously it feels like it’s our starting 3 or bust really

Big Div is a funny one. Seemingly invisible for periods, but pressed well leading to one goal, lovely cushioned header for Curtis to score and ran his heart out at the end to get that pass from Taki and score.
It will be interesting to see if he goes,along with Grujic and the Shaq who also played pretty well.
They would have in the shop window this morning for potential buyers.

No doubt Bob is still the man. Just good to have someone who can do a similar job to Bobby. Love Divock but our game changes when he plays instead of Bobby.

I love the Nike spin on it - "every kit is unique".

The alternative way of describing this is we could not be ****ed making every kit the same so we just put the printed fabric though the cutting machine any which way.

Likely loan/sale lined up. Although Grujic did play and he is on the way out.
