True. For 18 months we've been practically perfect. To go another 6 months with the same level is going to be difficult. We need the team's below us to drop more months to give us a breather so we don't have to win every single game. It's not sustainable.

We've collected 131 points out of 150 in the past 50 games. Insane.

I find actually quite annoying that we have to be this good and there's still no guarantee of a league title. Even the Invincibles drew something like 12 games and still romped it in. No team has ever had to fight this hard for one league title. It's ridiculous.

Looking back you are correct, I just went for the CB with the best ability to partner VVD.

Carragher was not the same since he came back from a serious injury in 09 and was retired by 34 years old. He declined rapidly.

I guess looking at it logically VVD's partner has to be Matip or Lovren.

A fit Agger was the better of all the CB's other than VVD. You have to go Carragher, though. If Sami played in this decade, it would be an easy choice to put him alongside VVD.

My overriding memory of Agger is his inability to defend a high ball. And the guy was meant to be a centre back. He was easy on the eye but a weak defender. One of our most overrated players when you consider his actual output.

Could not hold a handle to Matip or Carragher.

No, it's just common sense. He never played well at no.10 for us, and Sadio would get ahead of him on the left every single day

At best he makes it on the bench

There ain't a single alternate universe where Coutinho gets ahead of Firmino in the team

It's the same overinflated opinions of certain past players that we have, Agger was a top bloke but he was shite for us towards the end.
