No, he turned down a pay as you play deal originally, which is why he didn't sign a new deal and was released.

When Roy took over, Aurelio's agent contacted the club and asked if he could return to train with the team, he impressed Roy, so Roy offered him a contract.

I assume it's not high wages as no-one else wanted Aurelio. But it's definitely not a pay as you play deal.

Hull City have sent Kamil Zayatte on loan for the rest of the season to Leicester City.

They are now expected to make a loan offer for Daniel Ayala for the remainder of the season.

I don't think Ayala will make it in England, but it will be good for him personally to play week in week out in the Championship.

Hull changed their mind on that one, it was all set for a season long loan deal, before switching to a one month deal just before he signed.

I suspect if he goes okay, they'll make it a longer term deal.

Ive been quite a few times. My first experience at Anfield was back in the 03-04 season against Southampton but I came away gutted. We were attacking the kop first half and I was in the Anfield Road end. We got a corner literally straight away from kick off, but the Saints cleared and it fell to Omerod one on one with Hamman. I love Didi but he isnt blessed with pace and Omerod went round him and slotted home 72 seconds into the match.

We never looked interested for the rest of the game and in the second half it got worse as Svensson ghosted into the box from a corner and headed truly. We got one back with 15 minutes to go through Heskey but we lost 2-1. I would have to wait several years before seeing my first win at Anfield.

My next match wasnt until the 07-08 season when I went to Anfield to see us play against Barnsley in the FA Cup but despite and early lead through Kuyt, a second half header from Foster levelled the scores. Then late on right in front of me sitting in the Kop, Howard lost possesion after a decent penalty shout, got back up, won back the ball and rifled it into the bottom corner right at the death. Again I go to Anfield and again we lose. We put out a good side that day and should never have lost, there goalkeeper, Steele played a blinder. I was beginning to think I was a curse.

A week later I was back at Anfield for a league match against Boro and my curse seemed to continue with Tuncay coasting into the box 9 minutes in from a free kick and nodded home. I was thinking I should just leave as I was a curse. But then Fernando Torres happened. I was in the Anfield Road end right near the Boro supporters and a quickfire double from Torres silenced the Boro fans and the Liverpool fans started up a ... "You're not singing, you're not singing, you're not singing ANYMORE!" :D

Torres completed his hattrick in the second half and a late Downing goal made it a 3-2 win to Liverpool for my first win watching the boys.

Next up was a trip to the Reebok where we won 3-1. An own goal from Jaaskelainen gave us the lead, it was a howler too. Weak shot from Gerrard that was actually going wide and somehow Jaaskelainen managed to put it into his own net. Babel and Aurelio completed our scoring and Cohen got a late one for them.

Back to Anfield I went for our next match which was a glorious 4-0 smashing of West Ham. Another Torres hattrick and one for Gerrard. And a week later I watched the boys crush Newcastle at Anfield 3-0. Pennant, Torres and a Gerrard screamer were the scorers that day.

Then I was back at Anfield just last week to watch Torres score his volley to give us a win against WBA. Ive also got tickets for the Steau Bucharest game at Anfield next week. Which will be my first European night at Anfield. Im pretty ****ing excited.

Sorry to bore you with my stories. RevDog, you're gonna ****ing love it.

Seriously looking at the table and the way results have gone so far... we need to have a crack at winning this game. I know we can't afford to lose but shit... Roy needs to believe we wont lose and try and win it. Lucas and Poulsen together will be another snore fest.... Put Raul with Poulsen just be a bit more positive and create chances for our golden boy nando to win it!.. We genuinely can win this but not if we have the attitude to draw it.

Definitely think we need to have a good crack at the win.

5th after four games having played arsenal and man city would be a decent start.

To progress this year we need to win almost every game at home, beat the crap teams away from home and get wins against mid table clubs away from home.

I hope Babel and Torres get a partnership tonight.

Roy has been saying he'll get his chance, so play 2 strikers.

Highly doubtful we'll play 2 strikers away from home, especially with Ngog being out injured.

He's clearly 2nd choice.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Raul along side one of Lucas or Poosen. (Hopefully Lucas, as he's less shit than Poosen).

Yes but if he is gonna start babel in a central role, you can't play him one out. He needs to partner Torres.

-------------Reina-------------
Kelly--Carra--Agger--Konchesky
GJ----------Raul--------Jova
-----------Gerrard----------
