You must not have seen us stopped committing men forward like we did in the 1st half then. Torres was once again isolated while we sit back.

How's it so hard to see that Woy decided to go for the gutless approach? He's been doing that all season away from home, all through 35 years, in fact.

I never denied that Spurs deserved their win and the quality of their attacking half, but doesn't take anything away from what I said: Woy went for the cowardly approach the 2nd half and deservedly got battered. If we play like that more, then watch us give away a heck lot more leads away from home, that's if we get a lead in the first place

And there's no debate whatsoever with the captaincy if people are sane at the club: Pepe and no one else. Then again, the one in charge is anything but

My point is if we continued to attack the way we did in that first half we would've got trampled on. We did take the pedal off a little bit, but we were up 1-0, I know everyone’s saying ' we should've kept on going etc ' it's just law of our past two managers we don't keep attacking after we get a lead. I thought Roy's management was top notch for the first time in his Liverpool career, and if our players would finish the ball we wouldn’t be having this argument.

End of the day, the team who took their chance won the game ..

you kind of contradict yourself here.

how should you be up 2-0 when you save a sure fire goal yourself?

I thought Carra was pretty good this morning. He seems to always play well against Spurs. Maxi was good for the first 10 minutes, went missing for 30 and then had that shocking miss. Raul was a super signing for you guys, think he is a fantastic player.
Well we stopped a sure fire goal because of Carragher making an excellent challenge. The chances we missed were our own fault. Torres and Maxi just fluffing easy goals. We should have been 3 or 4 nil before your lot even woke up. But we didnt take our chances and you guys made us pay like I knew you would. You have a good side and I knew if we didnt take those chances, Spurs would be good enough in front of there own fans to make us pay.

Meireles is a good player. Roy's best buy.

His flick to Maxi was amazing, but as you say, apart from that, he was terrible.

Two golden opportunities missed. His general body language was poor too.
This has been a problem for some time. He's a great player, but unless he scores or has had a particularly good game etc., his body language is shocking and I'm surprised more isn't made of this. He just seems to mope around, looking frustrated and feeling sorry for himself, which leads to him committing silly fouls, swearing at opposition players etc. I'm sure he's frustrated with how things have been going on a personal level and with the club in general, but it'd be nice if he looked interested some of the time. No way known does he deserve the captaincy.

Oh a manager showing emotions is a plus now, is it? Then Rafa should've been shot when he had no emotion when Gerrard put the third goal in against Olympiakos or when Xabi equalised against Milan in the final. The old twat can scream around like a madman for all I care, he's still out of his depth.

Loved his "ah well" after Spurs scored the winner

He had the team attack for one half of football, got one goal, then decides to sit back, hang blokes on the crossbar and play like bats. Idiotic tactics, really. Yet people are pleased by that? That's how far this man has corrupted the standards. The sooner he goes the better.

I don't blame the loss on him, I am just very keen to point out his incompetence coz the longer we have this bloke in charge, the further we sink into oblivion
No you idiot, you totally misinterpreted my point. His showing of emotion showed that he wasn't happy with how the second half was going. We fluffed a few chances and should have got the win but people still blame Roy, even though it was Carragher who let Modric in and Konchesky's lack of pace and awareness which let Lennon through. He didn't "park the bus" this game, he managed this game well, even though he hasn't done much of that too often this season. There is absolutely no faulting Roy for the result the other night, moreso the "incompetence" of one or two players. But you, seem to see Roy as the scape goat because you think he said "ah well" after losing. Your post is far and away the most pessimistic, one-sided bias post I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot. You only belong in here because you hate Roy, but he wasn't to blame.

You be Cena. It's funny how Carlito Carribean "Cool" is in the background corresponding with "Cooldude". He should be the one getting RKO'ed :D
Haha.

I am Carlito! Caribbean! COOOOOL!

Do you know what cool is? You're looking at it!

I haven't got the slightest clue who it actually is getting RKO'd though.

Cawwa is gone for the next 3 months which is a good thing. We get to see how we perform without him and now we just need Skrtel to join him on the sidelines.

3 months! OMG! Time to see how we go without him.

Aside from the broken ribs he suffered at Sunderland a few years ago, I cant recall him ever being injured aside a knee injury around the time of the 2002 World Cup and the broken leg.

My thoughts exactly.

I don't want to sound like a w*nker or anything but i was discussing liverpool with a mate last friday and I told him that I hoped for Carra and Skrtel to get injured for a month so he'd be forced to play Kelly and the Greek.

I feel kinda bad.

Sorry Cawwa, you've been a great servant, but this is the second best news of the season. He's ****ing past it, and it was a joke he was starting every ****ing week.

I was thinking this as well!

He is fairly durable, a quality you loved when he was 26 but not so much now. As long as he is fit, he will always be first choice.

If only that Danish defender we apparently have playing for us was fit.

He might be able to force his way back onto the bench.

Understand the sentiment, but still think it's poor form to wish injury on any player, let alone a highly-respected player like Carra. He'd do anything for the club. Of course, he's not as good as he once was, but he is a better player than Skrtel and has actually been fairly good IMO in recent times. He was fantastic on Sunday. There are lots of games coming up and with Agger injured as well, that just makes things even worse.

Looks like my hatred on this board continues, i now weigh 500 pounds and still copped an FU ..

Anyway, I think this will give us a test to see who stands up leadership wise and who can be the leader on the field.

Surely against Villa we will see Aurelio in at left back, and possibly a Kelly/Skrtel partnership.

If we can get 3 out of 4 wins out of our next 4 games Villa, Newcastle, Fulham and Blackpool that could set our season up. We're actually playing some better football compared to the gash we saw at the start.

In January I think it's essential to see some signings or else we can fear Torres and Reina leaving in summer.

That's horrible logic, we'd get trampled on if we keep attacking so let's sit back and.... get trampled on anyway.

And the first half was a lot more even than you make it out to be, ya know. Both sides could've had a couple but we were the ones who scored. That's just the way it is. You make it sound like we played Spurs off the park

And why the hell are you referring to me as "you", I ain't no Spurs fan, spit and say it again, it's insulting.

Calling others an "idiot" doesn't strengthen or reinforce your point.... idiot

Oh he wasn't happy with how the second half was going, so ****ing what, that's even relevant? If any manager, no matter how shit they are (such as Woy) sees his side plays shit, then he better be a little upset. You're just talking outta your arse now. PS: This is the same Woy who dumps us down every game and reduces our expectation to mediocrity

I wasn't scapegoating him for the loss, you idiot. When the heck did I say we lost because of Roy? In fact, I said we didn't lose because of him, so L2read, please. I'm entitled to criticise any manager who takes my club to its worst start in 50 years, talks shit in press conferences, and slowly reducing the club to a rabble

Does it make you feel like some sorta superfan to defend anyone who criticises the manager? My point still stands that we will go nowhere with this clown, and he must be sacked. I don't care less what you think about my posts, seeing as yours are just complete rubbish to begin with anyway
