We scored two against them, their parked bus isn't the issue

It's conceding 3 against a drop zone team, it's conceding 4 against Bournemouth, 2 against Burnley, 2 against ******* Sunderland
Definitely conceding too many goals to low ranked sides is unacceptable. I'm more talking about the first half when we attack. We spend all that time with possession and have piss weak efforts at goal and the clubs that sit back are happy to do so knowing they'll get their chance to score later.

If we can cross more and beat them in the air instead of trying to do quick passes around and in the box full of 10 defenders we may score early and then be able to drop some mids back to help defend the lead. Then the lower ranked clubs will come to attack us and the likes of Coutinho, Lallana, Mane, Firmino with extra space will tear them apart on the rebound.

It's hard to pinpoint what is wrong with the defense. Maybe we just need one more boss CB. I just wish Klopp would forgive Sakho and let him play. Get him next to Matip.

It's an unacceptable result that pretty much ends any title ambitions. All about the League and FA Cup now and making sure we finish top 4 and get CL football.

I hate early Saturday games. I can't watch them properly and seeing shit score lines on the odd chance I pass the screen makes me fume, especially when I can't see what or where it is going wrong. Don't want to see the replay either. ****

i love your passion!!!
Passion more like anger, I am pissed ;)

Need a result against Chelsea now, both Manchester sides drawing is lucky, but we just desperately, desperately need to start tightening the ship at the back. It's been like this for a couple of seasons, can't help but think we need better personnel at the back

Matip + someone else for next season

Lovren to third choice and Klavan if he's still around to fourth, otherwise JoGo

Mane missing is killing us atm, we're massively missing his defensive work rate atm.

We must find a like for like for him next season so when he goes on international duty or cops injurys (lets hope that doesn't happen) we have someone to play his role.

Phil and Hendo better for the run
Origi has been terrible this year
Sturrige can't get away with doing the bare minimum any more

Emre Can is nothing more than a depth player.

We need Mane back ASAP
We need Lallana in midfield
We need Matip in defence

Concerning Sakho hasn't been sold yet with 9 days left in the window. If we can't sell him Klopp will surely need to use him for the rest of the season.
January transfer window is almost becoming a non event. Time to either shorten it to a few weeks, or get rid of it all together and only allow loan deals to go through and any Free Agent signings.

I haven't been a massive fan of Can for a while but I just don't think he deserves to be anywhere near our starting XI. Would prefer Woodburn to be honest. Henderson was rubbish and for the love of god can someone have some balls and take the set pieces off Milner (except pens), very rarely clears the first defender, does my head in.

If we don't sell Sakho, we are stupid, he either needs to be considered for senior selection (wont happen) or shown the door. Klavan is a good backup for cup games etc, but if either of Matip or Lovren go down for a length of time we'd be screwed.

If Hendo isn't fit i'd like to see for the mid-week game:

Migs
Clyne Lovren Matip Moreno
Milner
Lallana Wij Cout
Firmino Sturridge

lov has always been average. needs to go asap
He is good when he has a good partner. Matip coming back in should see an improvement in Lovren.

I see all this criticism of Emre yet Wijnaldum seems to escape it. He has been anonymous in most games all season and can't shoot for shit yet nobody talks about it. At least with Emre you are going to get that defensive work and he'll pop up with a goal here and there.

I freely admit I love Can but there is no reason why he should bare the brunt of the criticism when Wijnaldum has been at least as bad if not worse.

I don't buy this theory. Lovren was excellent at Old Trafford last week alongside Klavan, and he was terrible at Palace for example when he was alongside Matip.

He's just an erratic defender as capable of putting in a 3/10 performance as he is a 8/10 performance, and that's not what you want from a CB.

Wijnaldum has as many league goals as Can this season and certainly with more assists, and he made one for Firmino yesterday

Don't buy that Wijnaldum's been useless, he's been good. Can on the other hand, I'm just grateful everytime he's on the ball that he doesn't give it away in the dumbest fashion imaginable

I don't think Wijnaldum has been all that bad though, he was definately one of our "best" last night behind Firmino. He needs to add a lot more to attack but Can just seems to lose the ball, try and chase down the opposition player and plow into the back of them giving up a free kick and then abusing the ref.
