Arsenal score in the 98th (yep, 98th) minute to beat Burnley with 10 men.
This is the reason we will struggle to keep in the top 4, we just can't seem to grind out wins over the bottom teams when things aren't going our way. Chelsea are kings of it. Chelsea have the league now, in my opinion, so 2nd - 6th will now be fighting it out for a top 4 position. Going to be extremely hard for us to to maintain it but should present a good challenge to Klopp.

On that, it's a bit sad that (yet again) we're now only 3 weeks after Christmas somewhat resigned to the fact that Champions League qualification is the best we can hope to achieve. Considering pre-xmas there was some serious optimism about us being a genuine challenger. I don't even care about Champions League (okay, I do) I just want to see us contend for a league title again. Feel like every year I'm getting dick teased by the prom queen only for her to get towards the end of the school year to go home with David Ngog.

yeah the pre xmas talk about LFC being genuine title contenders scared me. Had a bad feeling. It was up there with Faiths jinxation of the club a few seasons ago.

Anyway no one cares about the league. FA Cup is the most important trophy (or the League cup, whichever one we could win).

As for the prom queen heading home with Ngog, well, no shame there

Southampton at home in the league cup won't be an easy task.

They probably should've won 5 or 6-0 against Leicester City last night.

Think the game will go into penalty's, something we probably don't need atm.

I love Klopp's words about the transfer window.

He isnt a manager to just buy option C because he cant get option A or B. He only wants player who he feel will genuinely help the team. If he doesnt feel like option C will help the team then he doesnt buy.

I feel like we have too often does this, settled for the second or third options and ended up with poor players or players who just dont fit in.

I feel pretty safe with Klopp in charge of transfers, I dont expect anything to happen in January, I never did. But I do expect him to make some good signings in the summer.

I can't help but think that things would have gone differently for Markovic if he'd been at Liverpool when Klopp arrived...

I guess we'll always have that ridiculous straight red against Basel.

I think you go to the diamond against Southampton in the second leg.

Karius (he still gets this cup game, right?)
