I just want a little buffer. I'm shitting myself over here. We all know BeingLiverpool is a thing.
No. It isn't. 'Being Liverpool' is a signpost of someone saying they don't understand football. The top 6 does not always beat the teams below them. If our crowds were as fired up about playing supposedly 'lowly' teams as they are about playing 'big' teams, we would get better results.

We are above City by 5 GF. They could very easily win their last 4, although we hope Leicester remains a bogey team for them. Klopp said that "No team of the teams we fight for top four can win all the games" so it appears he's also thinking City will finish 3rd. They do have more firepower. It's also odd/annoying how much Klopp is complaining about the tactics of other teams. So it's up to the fans to instill that belief goals will come where the team may be missing it.

If the fans are quiet/nervey again, then the players need to inspire them. I can see the South Americans stepping up to smash Watford. A fit-looking Lallana cameo should help too. We haven't really seen Klopp play players who aren't ready (except maybe Lovren last wk?), so if Adam's named it'd be a good sign.

Man U have a tough draw from here - 3 day turnarounds before away games to Arsenal & Spurs... don't think we necessarily have to win all four games to secure a top 4 spot, but it's at least in our hands.

Would be far more confident if Mane was available.

Man Utd's done, Arsenal is almost done

We'll get 70+ points and that'd be enough, now it's a battle for 3rd with City that's more relevant

Man Utd has 4 games in like not many days, two of them are Celta and the other two are Arsenal and Spurs. We've been through that before and we know how it goes, they're gonna prioritise Europe so they'll most likely drop points in both those league games

Arsenal can't play for toffy atm so they're ******

Two more wins will get us 4th, but we should be aiming 3rd, it's in our hands

It isn't a danger game. We should win easily. If we don't, the players lack heart and serious questions need to be asked about Klopp.
"we should win easily" how has that gone down over the years against lower table clubs?

Of course we should win but it's Liverpool so you can never predict anything.

It's in our hands for 3rd now so if they really want it they will get there. If we can't beat Watford, Soton, West Ham and Boro then we don't deserve it.

Both Manchester clubs literally just dropped points against sides in the bottom 3.

It's not "being Liverpool", it's just being a flawed football team but apart from Chelsea and Spurs who isn't? There are 17 sides below us for a reason.

I reckon 3 points tonight will nearly secure CL football next year.

I also fear missing out on top 4 could easily cost us Cout, so stakes are massive.
Finish 3rd/4th and we can attract some big guns, putting us in title contention for next season. Finish 5th and it doesn't bear thinking about.

Massive massive game.

Doesn't that site only show highlights these days?

I know footballorigin.com shows full games, I just don't know how long after the final whistle it is before they get put up.
Full matches do they just post the link to the games in the comment section. Something happened and they were told to not put the full matches on their website or something.

Don't know what's worse, coming 5th or coming 4th and losing in the playoff round. Some very tough potential matchups there the way the other leagues are going--Nice (Reunion with Balotelli), Sevilla (Double agent Moreno) and right now the Yellow Wall again. If we have to play them again I'll need a heart transplant.

Pessimism aside it's in our hands if we can burn down the hornets nest

Massive game tonight lads. I expected us to be in 5th coming into this one but amazingly all the results went our way last night and we somehow still sit 3rd. Massive opportunity to put the pressure on those below us with a big win.

3rd would be a pretty great result for us this season. Straight into the group stages of the CL, big summer budget.

CMON REDMEN!!!
