Mane MOTM for mine. Everytime he had the ball it looked liked something promising might happen, even during the crap 1st half.
Bob with the equaliser and won a penalty. Can't ask for much more than that.
Coutinho disappears far too often in away games but he at least redeemed himself to some extent in the 2nd half.
Clyne is a running beast. Rivals Hendo on that score.
Milner has balls of steel but I agree with others on here in that he looks a bit vulnerable defensively. The Manc scum will probably have Martial running at him.
It's a pity to see what the injuries have done to Sturridge. As statuesque as any Benteke performance. Doesn't chase, doesn't pressure.
Karius, well...Klopp has a decision to make over the Int'l break.

5 - Firmino
4 - Coutinho
3 - Henderson
2 - Milner
1 - Clyne

Just when I thought we put those type of performances behind us we serve up that 1st half. I was having flashbacks of some of our more infamous defensive performances of last season. The 2nd half restored natural order however we still had some defensive lapses where a better team would've punished us. Last season a performance like that would've resulted in a 3-1 loss. Teams that challenge for the title put in the occasional crap game but still take the 3 points. Let's regroup now and come back after the international break and put 8 past the manc scum.

Clyne's mister unsung hero in a lot of this, worked up and down all day and was very good defensively. Shitehouse at marking in set pieces though but he isn't alone
Unfortunately Clyne's never gonna be great at defending set pieces. I guess the best he can do is at least challenge his opponent to put them off. Fullbacks in general aren't supposed to be relied upon for defending set pieces though in general. I rate Clyne as the best full back defensively in the league.

I'm gonna have to say this but Sturidge at his 13-14 performance days are over.

Watching his old videos you can just see how different his run and body movement was. His body looks shot now.

As the great American philosopher by the name of Usher would say, "think it's best we go our separate ways, got to let it burn".

So time to do what we always do with our players that are washed up.... by that I mean sell him to Chelsea for a ridiculous fee.

You can't keep dropping a keeper when they have a shit game, they'll stick with Karius and rightly so. We know Mig's ceiling and it wasn't good enough, time to move on
Yeah Karius hasnt started super great but we know what we get with Migs. We dont know with Karius yet, we gotta stick with him and see how it goes.

I think Sturridge is still very good but I just think he is annoyed that he isnt starting. He can either accept it and get on with it or continue on like he is. Right now he can count himself lucky that he is still in front of Origi.

#LFC u23s vs Ipswich Town: Kelleher, Arnold, Randall, Ilori, Sakho, Stewart, Wilson, Chirivella, Ings, Ejaria, Woodburn.

Subs: Firth, Whelan, Lennon, Brannagan, Phillips

Game not on TV.
We won 3-0. Ings hatty. He's pushing but tough when you're behind Firm, Sturridge and Origi.
