Simply can't let him go. Even if it was the start of the transfer window. If we ever want to get anywhere and consistently challenge for trophies we must stop becoming a selling club.

Don't care if he sooks about it on the sidelines for the next 3 months. Make a bloody statement.

Time for the administration/owners to prove if they have turned the corner or if we are still a shambles.

Coutinho within his rights to submit a transfer request, just as we're within our right to reject his transfer request.

This is Barcelona throwing a hissy fit after FSGs statement earlier today.

Suarez was irreplaceable. Coutinho not so much.

I'm just kinda mad right now. It will be hard to cheer for Coutinho now this coming season.

He's ****** it with the fans.
After all these years of players leaving Liverpool you honestly still expect any of them to be a saint?

Of course Coutinho wants to go to Barca, he can hand in any transfer request he wants, but the bottom line is whether FSG are gonna do the right thing or they're gonna cave. Fans are only panicking because we don't know what to expect from these bloody owners

Just sick of it I guess. You would hope FSG draw a line in the sand. But if we just tell Cout it's not happening, is he even gonna be all in this season. I doubt it.

The fans arent gonna love him like they used to.

I'd have to think so. He has a World Cup to play for. I can see this being very similar to Suarez. He sticks it out for another 12 months and we don't stand in the way of his move to Barca when they inevitably come back in for him to replace Iniesta next year.

Im sick of selling our best players.

Was hoping Klopp could turn this around but obviously not.

Will be interesting to see the reception he gets with fans now.
I can't remember how it was with Suarez and his first game after he kicked up a stink and we refused to sell.

Pretty disappointed in the little magician, I get that its how football is these days but I kinda thought he was legit when he would talk about staying and the love for Liverpool.

Latest bullshit from a "relative" is Cout and Klopp had a falling out over his role for the past 6 months...so that's what 3 weeks after signing on for 5 more years?

And didn't Suarez and Rodgers have that same falling out when Barca were involved?

Barca already have Dembele getting suspended at Dortmund and Coutinho handing in a transfer request. They really are going all out since Qatar bought out Neymar out of the blue.
