Ojo looks sharp in preseason. Apparently didnt have a good loan. But whenever I've seen him play, he always looks like he has all the tools to be a really good wide player.
Yeah I kept a close eye on him and half the time he was injured the other half he was a whipping boy at Fulham. Probably should be sold, but if he continues to impress during pre-season he might earn himself another loan at Championship level. But I'd think it would be his last chance.

Big wraps on Jones too. Local boy in midfield. I feel Woodburn has gone backwards though and is in need of a loan. Im hoping Wilson stays and is finally given a chance. Kent probably not good enough. Camacho rated highly too.

Curtis Jones was fantastic at U18s level and ok at U23s level last year, Made some good passes in the Chester pre-season game.

Woodburns last season was a disaster because Klopp constantly had him as an unused sub and he barely played U23s or any first team cup games. Played 2 first team games all year. I don't blame Woodburn at all for the way he was misused.

Agree with Harry Wilson. Kent showed a lot of promise in pre-season last year but his loans at Freiburg and Bristol were big failures, poor season from him.

I do find it interesting that Rafa Camacho played RB in both pre-season games considering he's a left winger at U23s level. Didn't do anything memorable defensively but he did well when attacking. Might get himself a loan spell this window or in jan if he keeps it up.

Klopp isn’t out shopping for a goalie. We don’t like it but we both know it to be true!
I am hoping Klopp openly saying he is happy with our current keepers is a facade so we don't get shafted in negotiating a transfer for a quality keeper.

In today's market Shaqiri is a 20-30m pound player easily. His relegation clause is a bargain. If he doesn't work out for us we should be able to sell him at a profit without too much trouble.

He'll be a squad / impact player. Interesting to see how he reacts to that role after being the star player at Stoke.

Shaq played in that all action treble Bayern team and spent two seasons with Guardiola, it's not like he can't press.

Wanted him signed before Markovic back in that season, funny how things work out
