Strange nobody has posted about Mo.

But he has won the PFA Players Player of the Year award.

Expected and deserved though.

What a player.
Guess its just run of the mill, business as usual for LFC and Salah. Minnow teams would be celebrating and making tribute memorabilia. Not us, business as usual :D

While initially disappointed about the weekend result, it's will probably help us focus for a full 90 minutes on Wednesday morning.

And here's some less obvious Salah stats:

Most EPL non-penalty goals:
34* - Cole (93/94), 32** - Cole (93/94), 31 - Suarez (13/14), 30 - Salah (17/18)

Most EPL score involvements:
47* - Cole (93/94), 47* - Shearer (94/95), 44** - Shearer (94/95), 44 - Henry (02/03), 43** - Cole (93/94), 43 - Suarez (13/14), 40 - Salah (17/18)

Most EPL games scored in:
26* - Cole (93/94), 24** - Cole (93/94), 24* - Shearer (94/95), 23 - Salah (17/18), 22** - Shearer (94/95)

Most top-flight League goals by a Liverpool player:
36 - Hodgson (30/31), 32 - Hodgson (28/29), 32 - Rush (83/84), 31 - Raybould (1902/03), 31 - Hunt (63/64), 31 - Suarez (13/14), 31 - Salah (17/18)

* - all 42 games of a 42-game season; ** - first 38 games of a 42-game season

Well guys, when at the shopping centre this arvo wearing my Liverpool polo shirt, no less than 4 guys acknowledged me or commented about the game tomorrow. They were all excited and nervous. Like me. Quite honestly, i'm going to struggle to go to sleep tonight.

Interesting read- translation of a Spanish article that explains why Coutinho didn't have the physical capabilities to be a Klopp player
Whilst interesting, i dont really believe much of it. From the games I watched, Coutinho was fine in midfield in a 4-3-3. I think anyone is just trying to make it a positive. There is nothing positive to selling your best player. We have moved on without him and done well but to try to make it out like it was all good and part of the plan to sell him is misleading. The club and Klopp never wanted to sell him.

Great flick from the Rome final in 1984 via Simon Hughes' latest article in the Independent. Beautiful kit. I'm also here for goalies wearing outfield shorts and socks.
I love what some of the faces says about each guy.

Dalglish has this aloof, child like fun look on his face. Like he is unaware of his genius. Rush has this ice cold look on his face, which mirrors his composure in front of goal. Hansen, just a slight smirk and fully relaxed just like when on the ball, cocky and confident. Then there is Souness. HARD AS NAILS, EVERYONE **** OFF. Just how he played haha.

Souness' last game for the club, too. I think scoring his penalty in the shootout must have been his last act as a player.

I'd love to find a photo of our away kit from back in the 70's. Phil Thompson said it was our best ever (including our home kit) looked powerful and intimidating etc. It was a white top with red trim , black shorts and white socks. It looked great from the videos i've seen.
