Nah sorry but I stand by it. You don't have to rape or assault someone to be a rubbish person. The man is a 6 year old. Used to love watching him play for us, but he consistently embarrassed our club. His diving and theatrics is worse than Robben, his comments and way he tried to exit our club last summer I still haven't forgiven him for, consistently trying to play victim. And biting someone is an extremely low act and I will not hear white line fever as an excuse. You do it 3 times you need some serious councelling. Man is a rat. Great player, needs some serious self reflection as a person.
So he's a "putrid" human being because he dives in football matches and tried to move from one employer to another?

Flawed no doubt, but putrid human is a bit harsh.

He has a bad case of white line fever but off the pitch he's never assaulted anyone, never raped anyone, never done anything that's hurt anyone as far as I know. Just a guy with a hard upbringing who takes it a step too far sometimes when the competitive juices are flowing.
People think it is a funny coincidence that Suarez bites and has a massive set of chompers, but I reckon that's why he does. He would've got a lot of stick as a kid for having big teeth, and it would've made him want to use them to get people back who insulted him. He plays like he is still a kid, because that's what has brought him his career. His touch isn't phenomenal. It is the fact he wants to win more than anyone else and he doesn't mind getting physical - he turns into defenders rather than away from them.

I know most people see the biting as animalistic and awful behaviour, but I think the players that try to deliberately injure opponents with studs-up challenges, or chop-downs from behind are worse.

Rodgers was absolutely raving about Ibe's performance in this game a month or so ago:

I definitely expect him to get a few opportunities this season. Rated extremely highly by the club, still only 18 and probably not at Sterling's level but certainly capable of playing for our first team. Going to be very valuable for us in the future, capable of playing on either wing or as a CF.
Some great play in there, but the finishing in that game would have him here: Henderson > Allen > Ibe.

The consistent diving and theatrics is as bad as I've ever seen from any player.. plenty of players dive, he is disgraceful at it. Yells every time he goes down, will hold his face when he's been knocked in the arm, continues to play victim and says he's unfairly treated. Can't remember the game or incident but I remember he scored a goal, mite have been a cup game, where it clearly came off his arm or hand and he ran off celebrating and fooled the refs. Yes I am aware other players do this stuff but this sort of thing sums him up. Not integrity in the man whatsoever. You only have to look at him celebrating when Ghana missed the penalty after he reached his hand out to stop it going in and got sent off. The act itself can be forgiven but the celebrating and pretty much taunting of Ghana is what he has been all about his whole career from what I have seen.

If he didn't play for Liverpool I probably would have hated him more than I had ever hated a player playing prem league.. like pretty much every other non LFC supporter. There is a reason for that..

I also didn't say it was because he wanted to change employer did I? I said it was the way he did it last summer and also after we stuck by him after biting and he tried to forge a move to our direct rival.. really good loyalty and honor in the man isn't there.. Constant quotes in the press every day say he wanted out and is unfairly treated in England and ridiculed because of the biting and racism incidents.. Then suddenly and offer goes in from our direct rival and he wants to go there...

Sorry but as a person he is a complete flog.

So diving in football matches, celebrating missed penalties and a lack of loyalty to a football team are enough for you to label someone a "putrid human being"?

Everything you've said so far suggests that he's a bit of a dickhead when he's playing football, that's about it.

dickhead playing football or in general shouldn't be evaluated that separately. He's just a dickhead and was just as much an embarrassment for us as he was an amazing player.

So the Echo does say Bony and Remy as our striker target, honestly no Bony, Remy yeah I can live with him

And Davies as left back since Seville are sitting like pricks over Moreno

We do have CL football, right?
Why are you against Davies? As I've said earlier he's not a star but I don't think that's what we need at the full backs.. we need someone solid which I think he is..

Prefer Moreno though.
Can't have everything though.. Would you prefer someone like Davies who would do a solid job and have an extra 10m on top of what we have to spend on reshaping our attack in the absence of Suarez.. or spend 20+ on Moreno.. As I've said don't think we need an attacking star in our fullbacks, we have to shore up our defense and get someone solid in. Don't forget we have Enrique still too..

For what it's worth I would be very happy with a player like Moreno coming in, but maybe with the money it'll cost we could use it a bit better..

I don't believe he's a better player than Enrique, he's about the level of Flanagan, does a job but not much else

Teams are gonna park the bus against us next season in a big way, we need a very good attacking full back, Moreno is that, plus he has a much higher ceiling than Davies

this guy could be anything.
great value
I really don't think you watch anything other than lfc and know anything about any player.. your posts offer literally nothing than just a short statement.. tell me what do you actually know about the player and why is your opinion it is great value.

Can anyone see us getting a marquee signing other than Markovic who will cost around 25mil? Would love to target a big name like Reus which seems unlikely so perhaps someone like Griezmann or Koke or Draxler who are all young, already stars with loads of potential.

Yes.. we have lots of money to burn and we aren't going to be leaving any stone unturned now we don't have Suarez.. Reus maybe a little too high to be aiming.. Griezmann would be ideal

Griezmann has a buyout clause of £24m, i'm amazed he hasn't been linked with just about every club. In all honesty i think he probably has a 'golden handshake' with either PSG or Monaco IMO.

According too Facebook Markovic's contract with us will have a 35 million pound release clause in it. That is a concern because if he is going to be as good as people say he will be then all the big clubs like Real and Barca will pay that straight away and get an absolute bargain.
