Alright not bad

Let's take it to Soton first game, they'd be up for it

Lambert's lack of mobility still a bit concerning, but you'd think Manquillo has played his way into a start. Next week's starting XI wouldn't deviate much if at all from today's game

I'm quite surprised Skrtel is starting ahead of Sakho

We paid 17M squid for a guy who was not happy playing 3rd choice at PSG

Oh and the small matter that he is starting CB for France no less. Keeping Koscielny out of a start is no mean feat

We played a guy who was not happy playing 3rd choice at Liverpool before last season so bad he forced his way back into the side and cemented that spot.

Liverpool, Chicago Bulls.
Well that was just fantastic. Sure Dortmund werent at full strength. Reus and Gundogun are injured I believe. Not sure why Hummels wasnt playing, still on holiday from the WC maybe? Wiedenfeller too I think. Bt they still have a quite a few of their first team team players playing and on the bench.

We were close to full strength and with them at half strength I would have been disappointed if we didnt batter them. 4-0 is a very nice win.

We played some wonderful stuff, the build up to Hendo's goal was jizz worthy. Coutinho's flick on for Studge to open the scoring was delicious.

Manquillo looks a player. Be interesting to see if he actually starts come sunday.

Lovren was actually pretty terrific. Could be worth every penny.

Coutinho and Sterling are building for a massive, massive year.

Moreno now please and one big time striker to help Sturridge and maybe, just maybe the title isnt completely out of reach.

Poor Mitch Langerak, was hard enough out there even without the crap refereeing!
Felt so sorry for him, he's a huge Aussie prospect but his defenders gave him nothing and he also got screwed over by that ref. I just hope that they don't think he's any less of a keeper after that game, I'd like him to be getting more game time.

It was off-side, but it wasn't out. Whole ball, whole line.

(And that's the whole diameter of the ball, not just the bit which is touching the ground - although plenty of refs get this wrong, like when making a player put the corner kick on the painted grass, not just overhanging it)

I rate Mitch, but Dortmund is just not a good fit for him at this age.

Needs to be the #1 GK somewhere else

Who needs Mkhitaryan when we have Sterling and Coutinho.
Going to be really nice actually having a bit of depth this year.

I wouldn't mind Mkhitaryan and Sterling both playing out wide as it would allow Coutinho to stay in an more central role.

Going to be very interesting as to where we are going to play Lallana when he gets back from injury.

Nah it was out.

I couldn't get the frame before because I'm on an iPad and the YouTube app is the shittiest thing ever but that pic is just after he's touched the ball and it's going back towards the pitch.

90 minutes of quality attacking football against 1 of the better sides in Europe (albeit missing a few key players), 1 week out from the start of the season, and this is what you're going to focus on? Haha alright mate! :thumbsu::rolleyes:
