Get Borini off and get like Enrique on or something, gotta push Sterling up the pitch. Having him defending against Downing is just baffling

Balotelli did well for the goal but was anonymous for most that half, both dudes up front aren't pulling their weight

I can excuse Borini coz this isn't much different to what he normally serves up, but Mario's gotta stand up for the team. They clearly tried to physically intimidate him early and it clearly got to him, apart from the goal he has rarely touched the ball, he's gotta bust a gut and show for it

No idea what Rodgers is trying to do. Guess he wants to play a possession based game, but we have no penetration in our play whatsoever, except hitting a hopeful long ball up the field. 1 shot on target just isn't good enough

That's always been Ballo though, he has never busted his gut for the team and never will.
Not signing a pacey striker has been the biggest problem, although all these attacking midfielders we have are doing the job lol.

Sturridge and Suarez would endlessly take turns dropping deep to hold the ball up and get us going

Balotelli and Borini just.... stands there

Lallana on for Lucas

Remember when we were arguably the best team to watch in the PL and every attacking player looked dangerous around goal?

Pepperidge farm remembers.

Yeah. When our line up had - Suarez / Sturridge

Suarez = arguably third best player in the world
Sturridge = arguably best striker in the premier league

+ 4-5 players starting that have played less than 5 games for the club ...
