You have got to be joking? So close to his return? It's just not meant to be this season. Goodbye Champions League nights at Anfield again.
Forget Reus, let's just go back in for Shaqiri
Agreed. Always thought we should have gone for Shaqiri instead of Markovic anyway.

He'd walk into our team, why would he be rotated with Costao_O he's not a CF. Mou's already been in contact apparently so we're a big a chance as any.

--------Costa
Hazard Oscar Reus
-------Matic Fab

This is how we'd set up:drunk:.
He's an attacking midfielder/forward. You would have to drop either Hazard or Oscar and there's no way Reus would be happy being shunted out to the right. Mourinho doesn't play with a front 3 either who interchange so the only way I see Reus joining you guys is of he's happy to rotate with Oscar/Hazard/Costa and gets paid substantial ly more than he would get elsewhere.

No. Willian would drop out of the starting XI and Schurrle would probs be sold.

Hazard basically goes wherever he wants against most teams, Oscar often drops back. Reus would have a license to do the same, it's not like he'd be restricted to playing purely down the right hand side. And even if he was he'd still be a huge weapon for us.

fair enough buddy, it seems you and I have a different take on how Mou sets us up and on how we play. Flameboy seems to have covered it and im sure the rest of you Pool supporters don't want to hear us banging on about Chelsea in this thread.

Have to wonder what the medical staff are doing here, once sure it's unlucky, twice in a row he's done it again on the recovery. Surely should've given it more time before going into full training

He's been out for over 2 months now, with a hamstring strain that should have been more than enough time to rehabilitate. His whole career he's been a perpetual sicknote, unfortunately he looks to be going the way of Michael Owen and we may never see him reach his potential which is a shame because with his ability he could be one of the best in the world. We're just going to have to plan as though he'll only be available for 2/3 of each season because that's all he's ever been capable of.

But this is his longest spell out, ever, and twice he's been injured a few days before a match where he's scheduled to return

Can't help but think we should've been more cautious with him

Plus he was never Michael Owen bad with his soft tissues, he miss games but never to this extent
