Listen to the man that knows all about firepower, and no chemistry!

Sometimes the Pels have no firepower and no chemistry, makes life simple.

How can someone go from averaging

12.3 ppg, 4.8 app and 6.4 rpg

To

17 ppg, 9.1 app and 8.3 rpg

And not receive a Most Improved Vote.

Josh Giddey went from getting benched at Oklahoma and basically becoming a bench player to becoming an almost All Star.

Points per game jumped 5 points a game, rebounds increased by 2 and assists jumped an extra 4 a game with 13 triple doubles this season.

He had a huge jump during the second half of last season, but totally ignored and then he was just expected to produce that style of player without any awards recognition.

Josh Giddey was the most improved player in the NBA this seasons.

Averaged 14/8/7 last season, and 17/8/9 this season. That's an increase of 2.4 points and 2 assists per game.

He's improved his game since Oklahoma, but was never in the running for that award this year. Nickeil Alexander-Walker has gone from single digit scoring to nearly 21 a game, who has the better claim?

I was wondering where you got 12.3, 4.8, 6.4 from. Found its from 2023-24

I thought MIP comes from comparisons between prior and current seasons. I maybe wrong though

I am more glass half full on us. Shoot better and we win by double digits I think that one is on us for losing it.
Think it still goes to 6 or 7 games but I reckon we get through.

It's hard not to be impressed by Atlanta though. CJ has been an awesome pick up and moving on from Trae has done wonders for them.

Atlanta’s defense was unbelievable in disrupting Knicks shooting & their speed in transition to scoring from TO’s was powerful, esp from Kuminga. JJ & CJ kinda grew off that late too.

Knicks were too predictable late bc all the offense went through Brunson & not enough through KAT (14 FGA diff) who has a massive advantage inside.

Kat had 0 shots in the last that is the game there. For whatever reason Brown went with a group of Og, Bridges, Clarkson, Alvarado and Robinson who played 0 mins together they entire season and he put them in together in the 4th....

Not sure if referring to points or the age of his girlfriend

Interesting here Philly and Blazers have control early.
Imagine if New York, Detroit, Boston , Nugs and Spurs all dropped a game at home makes for interesting play off series.

Bad couple of days for Boston and New York, comfortable leads and let them slip at home.

Will Embiid be back for Philly at all? Could put a lot of pressure on the C's if they win game 3.
