Simmons has really stepped up with Embiid out. His high field goal % and steals every game make him a lot more efficient than Embiid. Its super impressive how much hes taken responsibility. This stretch has changed my mind - if Simmons and Embiid cant play together then its Ben who stays, especially considering Embiids injury history.

My God the Cavs are awful.

Seriously all they needed to do was send everyone to LaVine, instead they send Tristan Thompson to guard LaVine on the perimeter.

LaVine scores 44 and a near triple-double and the Cavs lose by double digits at home.
Sexton is a problem for the cavs. Personally, Id be moving him to the bench and playing him as a 6th man.

It's interesting that all 10 of the Lakers' losses have come against playoff teams, and with the exception of Orlando all teams on pace for 50+ wins.

Overall they're 12-9 against +.500 teams, and 24-1 against sub-500 squads. Be curious to see how this plays out over the remainder of the season.

Also odd: if OKC wins their next game, that will make 13 teams that are on pace to win 50 games.

And exactly zero teams on pace to win between 40 and 49 games.
If OKC won 50 games the year after they won 49 with Westbrook/George it would be delicious.

Based on form, there's no reason to think they wouldn't.
