The Birch - IMO our most underrated player

"Birchall played well ... again." is without a doubt the most common thought I have after watching the Hawks play, and I've been thinking it ever since he started. A smart, skilled and hard player.

His trademark move is getting the ball in space, ambling sideways while looking upfield, drawing an opposition player towards him and then taking off straight up the ground and burning the suckered off with his pace. Obviously finishing with a lace out pass.

Can't remember too many bad games from the Birch.

The most similar player I can think of to birchall is tuck. similar build similar style of play.
Stole my thunder.

Birch is Michael Tuck mk II.

Taller than what you'd think (unless you actually knew his height), consistent, barely gets injured, lanky, plays with a humpback, accumulates a bunch of possessions that aren't noticed... I don't know why ppl are suggesting he could get to 300 games. I just wanna know in which round he'll play game 400.
