Closest I have come to having a heart attack. The last 15 minutes of the game were the worst. I apologise for my language to all those people sitting within hearing distance in the Southern Stand..especially to the chap that turned around several times throughout the course of the afternoon.

I can relate to that

I'm sure I had at least 8 near-death experiences during that last quarter. My old heart stopped and kick started itself too many times for comfort.

We were at Southbank Piazza and with 6 minutes to go, I couldn't bear to watch the big screen any longer so went outside for a beer and a lungbuster. First time in my life the tension at any sporting event just got too much for me.

Anyway, must have done the beer and *** in world record time because I got myself back in time to see Aka snap that goal over his left shoulder. That was with about 4 and 1/2 minutes left!!

Absolute pandemonium!!!

Phew. Lucky I didn't drop off the planet. I would have never forgiven myself if I had missed the magic of us going B2B.

The first of those times that he turned around, was about five minutes into the game, when the Lions received a free kick, and one of us yelled out "He's been doing it all ****ing day, umpire".

It was a good day with Tan and Fee though.

My heart was pounding like crazy during the last quarter. You didn't want to be around me the whole game with stuff I was saying. Mum was the worst when Collingwood kept getting the ball in the last quarter and were moving forward.

Outnumbered 2 to 1, puts the arms up, grabs the ball, has a couple of opponents fall on top of him and gets up like he's ready to play another 120 minutes.

I think my heart officially stopped at the 26 and a half minute mark, and restarted at the 30'10" mark.... hang on, thats a second after the game finished... that explains it.

I didn't watch Lynchy's set kicks. I didn't speak for the last qtr.

I don't ever want to go through that again.

Vossy is a god and Brisbane owe him everything.

i think i enjoyed the game....drinking champagne for breakfast after a night on the beer and not eating anything turned me into a absolute shocker and i actually recall only about four moments from the game....i think there was a free kick either given to lynch or against in the goal square that got me screaming....another was voss's mark and akers goal...the other had something to do with shaun hart....i guess its buy the video time..but my mate who watched it said it was a really close game but all i could do was yell all through it that the lions had it in the bag....im never drinking again.... GO YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU LIONNSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
