The Main Bathroom

Steve and Chantelle:
The idea of having the basin at the front of the room was really smart. Easy in, easy out. And the room felt really traditional. Didn't mind the parquetry in the end.


Kyal and Kara:
Was not worth the perfect 30. I hated the hexagonal tiles on the wall. And for myself, it felt to squashed. Was waiting for the judges to comment on the bath and stick it to Steve and Chantelle.


The Twins:
Suck it up. Though I really liked the room, except for the green shit. The partitions were nice and stylish. The judge though marked to harshly.


Brad and Dale:
Simple room, though you can start to expect them to keep their rooms safe as time continues, they are very unlikely to push any boundaries with their designs

I think the judges got it spot on, the girls room was bizarre and all around awful, Kyal and Karas was awesome. The other two could raffle it for second place.

I thought S&C's hand basin was woeful. I like the pedestal style but not in black and not in that room. The wood roof bit and the bath should of been the centrepiece of the room and the black basin with a white bath didn't suit at all. They got let off a bit by the judges. Agreed with what Darren said about the twins layout, it was all wrong and wooden partitions were cluttered and just broke it all up into sections, the moss was the worst idea ever and looked terrible. K&K was a clear winner, some average looking rooms this week. The twins are full of themselves thinking they are respected interior designers or something, FFS you won a tv show, get over yourselves.

well done to the super ks for buying that bath. Its one thing to have cash to spend then another thing to spend it correctly, a lot of couples wouldnt have wanted to lash out on a single peice but it won them the room

I liked the twins bathroom. I'm not really sure about seeing the toilet when you walk in, cant say I've had any experience with this but maybe its not something you notice until you see it. Otherwise they did pretty well with the space they had I thought. Shayna def judged harshly, it wasnt worth a 5.

I thought Neil was a bit too harsh on their bath, nothing wrong with a bath fixed to the wall but the medicine cabinet did stick out like a sore thumb with all that empty space above it

Brad and Dayle just going about their business. Interested to see how they do their kitchen but more importantly how they go on auction day, as mentioned above they wont push many boundries but overall should create a pretty good apartment

My wife mentioned the same thing, chuck a bath in your ensuite (if its big enough for one) then its less maintenance (baths are a bitch to keep clean) and how many of your guests are going to have a bath in your main bathroom.

Realistically, people with the means to buy this apartment are unlikely to have young children. For the rare times grand kids come over and need to bathe, bathing in the ensuite is a better option than cramping up a main bathroom.

They are sooks who can't handle any criticism and who have tried to flaunt their D grade celebrity status through this whole series.

Last night they claim they should never have gone on this show. The whole reason they went on this Fan V Faves series was to flaunt their new interior design business and now they are whinging because someone had the nerve to not like what they did in the bathroom.

1 x builder or architect aspect
1 x interior design
1 x real estate agent

Who gives a shit if their bedspread doesn't pick up the right colour in their artwork.

Yeah unfortunately I watched the whole thing, now they are doing some Domestic Blitz crap and renovating other people's houses I've given up, when is the auction supposed to be?

I think the twins should win, their kitchen was awesome. K&K got too obsessed with wood and probably ruined their chances. I wouldn't even pay half a mill for Steve and Chantelle's, the ply wood on the balcony is awful as is the bed they just lobbed up there, apart from the bedroom they did well on the judging got very sympathetic towards them at the end.

This week I've only watched last night's episode and I think it was much better and snappier than the bulk of the season. You actually see them renovating without so much bullshit thrown in. You also get the judging and scores in the same episode. The whole season should be this format.

just didnt see "enough" this season, it was 3 episodes of bear empty warehouse space then the next epsideo a room somehow appeared and they were selecting curtains

One of the great parts of earlier block series was the teams overcoming problems the old houses created, but that didnt exist this season, it was just building walls and filling them in, literally interior decorating only

I still watched and enjoyed, but didnt enjoy the overall format of the building/apartments

The twins were my favourite last year.....

But this year they are absolutely doing my head in. All they do is complain every time they don't win 'because the judges are a harsher on them'. I hope they win most weeks so I don't have to listen to them complain.
