The three said the producers have geared it up for (younger ratings demographics) for Kyal and Kara. After all the stuff that has come out about the Biggest Loser editing i believe all three.

Steve and Chantelle won with 636k+100k for winning

Brad and dale were the lowest with 507k (which broke the previous record)

The twins were 616k, and Kyle and Kara were 567k profit

Not sure whether the producers would want such massive returns for the players, if they undervalued the apartments someones gonna have a shit day tomorrow

And going forward for future seasons where they always want to get a little 'bigger' its mighty difficult to crack the profits/sales price of tonight

They spent $3m on an interior shell before the contestants got there including steel, wiring, roof and plumbing for crew so they were able to film at all times. Each apartment had roughly $200k spent on renovations plus freebies from sponsors.

So by my rough math, not counting freebies or money lost to contestants as prize money, without ad revenue it looks like a 500k loss or thereabouts?
