I haven't watched the block for weeks but I know the chippie and he has posted 3 or 4 times on social media refuting everything they have said and done

This is his 3rd or 4th time in the block and has never once had to defend himself until this series

I checked out that chippie bloke’s insta.

Apparently the day she whinged about them going to Gisborne for lunch, they pulled a 17 hour shift.

And both had pregnant wives.

They didn't show much of Mitch & Mark's visit to the site, so there mustn't have been much good footage. The mud is just insane. They all look tired. It's such a grind to be on this show, especially in the last weeks.

That's a bit cynical. I suggest what happened is more common than you think. There are a lot of bad tradies out there. What's surprising is that one of these cowboy builders thought they'd get away with it on a show like The Block because you'd know on a big development like this, the site managers would check everything. A regular home builder probably would accept it without checking.

I wouldn't be surprised if it does. But they probably catch it before the subbies have got through induction, so they can ask them to leave before they do any work.

The whole thing with Dan ripping Tom about the insulation and then ringing him, knowing full well he was at the pub, was pathetic.

Where the **** else are they supposed to put all this shit? That’s what happens when you make them build a house out of order. The producers should have had dry spaces constructed for storage but I’m guessing they didn’t think ahead and now twist it into drama to pin on the contestants.

And Dan is a shocking actor.

Yeah even last year with the twins when they were dealing with the extension of the ensuite thing - he was just a no nonsense bloke. Needs more screen time!

By the looks of it, The budget woes will hit this week. And is it any wonder? Some of these teams have been spending $10,000 to $30,000 over budget each week and not winning much to show for it. Ridiculous.

Hard to get excited by a hallway. It's just a functional space. The WCs, mudrooms and Laundries (the ones that finished) looked great.

D&J deserved a win.

For places this big, they really should be allowed to hire some painters.
