Same as all the pools …3-6 days a year tops you’ll end up using them waste of money and water
Yeh wife and i were discussing it, personally think a pool is a waste of time in Melbourne, all that money for very little use.

No, they didn't.Oh wow throwing it back on the landscaper to do the job under the quote provided
I thought that was Omar & Oz's stupid idea.Looking at the ground pleading for a helipad

It shits me when trades put in a quote and then try to stiff you by sending a bill that's way over without discussing it with you during the build. That's the responsibility of the trade to inform the owners if they cannot meet the original quote and negotiate new terms. I don't think S&A was in the wrong this time. I think their landscaper was acting very dodgy on this one.God it shits me watching tradies getting squeezed and screwed on pay
Someone who buys this isn't going to own a helicopter ffs.
It could very well be that S&A chucked in a few extra requests thinking they were in the clear budget wise , hence the silly last minute request over the helipad where you’re better off throwing that extra money …which they didn’t have …straight into the tradies and the landscapping they have already planned outNo, they didn't.
The Landscaper sent a bill that was $26,000 over the quote he gave. Keith & Dan asked him to charge only what he quoted for the whole job or else leave there and then because they couldn't pay him the extra $26,000. Yeah, they put him on the spot on camera. That was a bit of a low act, I agree, but that landscaper was trying to stiff S&A, probably just like all the other trades. This is why you get written quotes from these people. So they don't pull this kind of dodgy crap. All that was on the Landscaper.
Client pays. Worker works. That's how it should be.These places are worth $5 mill, not $20 mill. How many people do they think own helicopters?
Put in something that appeals to everyone, not the 0.0001% of the population that own choppers. Or better yet, don’t spend money you don’t have.
I’ve always liked Inga but thought she was a bit harsh on Jenny. Don’t know whether she actually discussed the fence with her or not, but telling the client “I don’t want a glass fence” is a bit off, you are there to fulfill their vision, not your own.
Yeah I've thought from the beginning that a helicopterpad is a ridiculous idea. Money that could be better spent somewhere elseThese places are worth $5 mill, not $20 mill. How many people do they think own helicopters?

Does anyone else think that vineyard is a massive waste of the land? The upkeep and maintenance will be ridiculous
If I brought that house I would raze it down so it’s amusing watching her crow about how it’s a brilliant idea and doing everything she can to promote it
Takes a good 4-7 years for a vineyard to become mature , and in the Gisborne region I’m unsure if it’s the right environment for a successful one …90% of vineyards are a money pit that produces nothing you need the infrastructure which that property doesn’t have to be breaking even at best with itYeah Sharon went on a spiel about that a couple weeks ago, her dad owns a vineyard or something.
The only extra thing they were trying to get was the dumb helicopter pad idea. They mentioned during the episode that their landscaping had already been pared back due to their budget issues, so why send a bill that's $26,000 over the original quote without even discussing it with S&A. You can think what you want, but to me, that landscaper was trying to pull a swifty. It could very well be that S&A chucked in a few extra requests thinking they were in the clear budget wise , hence the silly last minute request over the helipad where you’re better off throwing that extra money …which they didn’t have …straight into the tradies and the landscapping they have already planned out
No idea, it hasn't been mentioned on the show yet- not one time.Does anyone know who has the biggest house?
For me if this was my house, I'd go with a pool, spa, tennis court, veggie garden + a small stable for a couple of horses maybe.
Hard no to a basketball court, vineyard or a tiny house. And lol at the helipad.

I don't get the tiny house, when you have just built a big house, game changer money wasted right there.
